High School Pitching Development Program

The Pitching Development Program is an all-encompassing program focused on developing a complete pitcher. This program is designed to bring a new, comprehensive way of training to help pitchers stay healthy and at the same time develop pitches, velocity and spin rate. While velocity development is a goal of the program, it should be a byproduct, The Pitching Development Program will also incorporate movement patterns, mental training and post throwing recovery which will keep the arm and body healthy, allowing athletes to train smarter.

The Pitching Development Program groups will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays will focus on the mental side of pitching, pitch development/design using technology, along with proper movement patterns. Bullpens will also be thrown as the season approaches. A plyo ball routine will be included on both Tuesdays and Thursday. On Thursday our primary focus will be to help pitchers build velocity.

The workload calendar will be designed for players to include a return to throwing/on-ramping cycle, followed by a velocity and pitch development cycle and finally a competition prep cycle as the start of the season draws near.
