Congrats on your new commitment! What is it about Carthage that excites you the most?

The overall college experience I’ll be receiving at Carthage, especially playing baseball and living on campus.

You have been a part of Top Tier since you were just a youngster. Tell us about your experience and what it means to you to be a part of an organization like Top Tier for that long.

I love the game of baseball and grateful to have grown with Top Tier since 11U. This program has taught me teamwork and how to put in the work so I can play to the best of my ability. I’ve made friends for life and know that the coaches will always have my back.

Talk a little bit about the recruiting process and how everything went down.

Many doors were opened through Top Tier tournaments, Future Games, Top Prospect camps and showcases. I went on many college visits and had multiple conversations with interested baseball coaches. I learned a lot along the way and was able to narrow down my options based on what I was looking for. It ultimately ended up with finding the right fit on both sides.

What were some of the priorities you looked at when deciding where you wanted to commit?

Some of the main priorities included location, the overall athletic and academic program, quality of the baseball facilities and the focus on career placement.

What challenges do you see ahead of you before you get to campus?

Figuring out what to bring with me before I move into the dorm.

What are some of the goals you have set for yourself as a college baseball player?

To continue to improve as a player and teammate. I’d also like to give back by helping to coach youth baseball.

Is there anybody you would like to give a shout-out or thanks to?

My My parents, for showing me how to keep my head on straight and stay focused. The Top Tier coaches,for helping me to develop on and off the field and my Top Tier brothers, for always being there, no matter what.
