2018 RHP/3B Chris Cuppini Commits to Judson

Congrats on your new commitment! What is it about Judson University that excites you the most?

What excites me the most about Judson University is achieving my lifelong dream of playing college baseball for a quality university.

You have been with Top Tier for your entire high school career. Tell us about your experience and why you were willing to travel so far to be a part of Top Tier.

My experience at Top Tier was great because the coaches are willing to help you achieve success on and off the baseball field. They are always there to help you and contact college coaches. I was willing to travel so far because I knew Top Tier would help me achieve my lifelong baseball goals.

Talk a little bit about the recruiting process and how everything went down.

I started contacting coaches via email and showing interest in their programs. I contacted Judson because I was going to a Top Prospect Showcase and I noticed they were attending. In July Judson contacted me and said they wanted me to make an official visit. Then in August I decided to commit there.

What were some of the priorities you looked at when deciding where you wanted to commit?

Some of my top priorities were to look for a school that had a good baseball program, the cost of the university, and the location of the university.

What challenges do you see ahead of you before you get to campus?

Some challenges I see ahead of me are adjusting to the college lifestyle at Judson University.

What are some of the goals you have set for yourself as a college baseball player?

My goal is to learn life lessons on and off the baseball field.

Is there anybody you would like to give a shout-out or thanks to?

I would like to give a shout out to Coach Plante, Coach Worsley, and Coach Lambart on helping me get to the next level. I would also like to thank my family for supporting me in this journey to the next step in my life.
