2020 1B Brennan Fisher Commits to Quincy

Congrats on your new commitment! What is it about Quincy University that excites you the most?

What excites me the most is winning. Coach Rabe asked me, “What do you want out of your college experience?” And the only correct answer was to win, and I am excited to have that expectation.

You have been playing with Top Tier since you were 9. Tell us about your experience and what it means to wear the TT’s.

The experience for me has been amazing. Everything from winter workouts and camps in the fall and winter to competing against the best competition everywhere we went was truly amazing.

Share one of your favorite Top Tier memories.

All of my favorite memories happened in Georgia. The competition we play is always forcing you to compete and play your heart out, and the time you get to spend with your team outside of the games makes this the most fun tournament of the year.

Talk a little bit about the recruiting process and how everything went down.

It was pretty slow up until the middle of August, but then one school called and the rest just followed. Then I got to talk to Coach Rabe and from everything that he had said I knew that this was the place that I wanted to be.

What were some of the priorities you looked at when deciding where you wanted to commit?

I was looking for somewhere with a good business program, while not being to far away from home.

What challenges do you see ahead of you before you get to campus?

The biggest challenge for me will be putting on weight before going off to school.

What are some of the goals you have set for yourself as a college baseball player?

My goal for right now is to develop as a player, win a starting spot, and win a College World Series.

If you could give one piece of advice to all of the younger players coming up, what would it be?

Work hard and enjoy the process, Tier will push you to your limits day in and out to become a better player. You have to learn to enjoy the process, have fun with it, while continuing to work hard.

Is there anybody you would like to give a shout-out or thanks to?

I would like to give thanks to all of my coaches through out the years especially coach Plante,Coach Seth, Coach Doby, and Coach Louis Gil. I would also like to thank my parents for getting me to everything that I needed to be at.
