Congrats on your new commitment! What is it about College of DuPage that excites you the most?
Coach Wilson creates the best atmosphere for the players and he’s completely dedicated to making it a top program.
You have been playing with Top Tier since you were 13 years old. Tell us about your experience and what it means to wear the TT’s.
I always wanted to play for Top Tier since I was nine, that was my goal. When I made Top Tier I couldn’t believe it because not everyone gets to play for Top Tier so that was really special to me. When you put the TT’s on you gain a level of confidence because you know you are playing with the best of the best. That is one of my greatest accomplishments I will ever have.
Share one of your favorite Top Tier memories.
My favorite Top Tier memories have to be the road trips. These were always the best times because you spent time with your teammates outside the game.
Talk a little bit about the recruiting process and how everything went down.
I knew that a junior college was the best fit for me and when Coach Wilson took over the program I knew that’s where I wanted to play.
What were some of the priorities you looked at when deciding where you wanted to commit?
Academically I wanted a business program that included real estate. Also, I wanted a baseball program that would give me the opportunity to contribute right away.
What challenges do you see ahead of you before you get to campus?
Focusing on working out to get stronger and putting on weight.
What are some of the goals you have set for yourself as a college baseball player?
To start as a freshman, help the team win, and have fun!
If you could give one piece of advice to all of the younger players coming up, what would it be?
Listen to your Top Tier coaches they know what they are talking about!
Is there anybody you would like to give a shout-out or thanks to?
I would like to say thank you to all my Top Tier coaches through the years especially Griffin Phelps and Coach Bunnel who have guided me through the game and taught me so much. Also, a special thanks to Coach Wilson for giving me the opportunity to play in college.
