Congrats on your new commitment! What is it about Fordham University that excites you the most? What excites me the most about Fordham University is to go from my country living in St. Charles to a challenging academic school in urban New York City. You joined Top Tier first with a satellite team before making the jump to play for HQ and earning a spot on the 16U and 17U Americans. Tell us about your experience and what it means to wear the TT’s. My experience at Top Tier has been amazing. The process we go through during the winter prepares us for the season. The intensity is always very high and everyone is competing against each other with high energy. When I transitioned from the Satellite team to the Americans, I could really tell the difference in the competitive spirit. Everyone wanted to be there and wanted to win. Every time we stepped on a field, we had that competitive edge and left everything on the field. Talk a little bit about the recruiting process and how everything went down. The recruiting process for me started during my 16u season. I talked to a lot of schools and built many relationships with coaches. My best advice would be to use those relationships as a guide to decide on a school. What were some of the priorities you looked at when deciding where you wanted to commit? One of my main priorities was academics. I wanted to go somewhere where I would get a high level education while playing at a quality program. Fordham was a perfect fit for what I wanted. What challenges do you see ahead of you before you get to campus? Keeping working on my speed because they are aggressive on the bases. I also have to maintain a high level of academics. What are some of the goals you have set for yourself as a college baseball player? Is there anybody you would like to give a shout-out or thanks to? I’d like to thank my family for supporting me every step of the way. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to travel to all the tournaments and showcases. I would also like to thank the coaching staff at Top Tier because they helped all the way through the recruiting process. Any question I had, they would answer.
To continue a high level of efficiency at the plate and in the field.
