Congrats on your new Commitment! What is it about The U that excites you the most ?
What excites me the most about The U is the great coaching staff they have, the environment that they surrounded you in, and the chemistry that they all have is great .
You have played with the Kangaroo Court Roos in your youth years and will now play with Top Tier Roos for your high school years. Talk about what you are most excited about and what it means to wear the TT’s.
I am really excited for this year! Top Tier is a great organization, their players have fun and play hard. I really like that they have the best coaches, play on the biggest stages against the highest level competition, and in front of the most scouts. It means a lot to be part of the organization.
Talk a little bit about the recruiting process and how everything went down.
I started talking to The U my freshman year and they started going to my games. This November I went to their baseball camp and visited the campus. I talked to my parents and we discussed the offer. I had some others options but I really liked The U a lot and I committed .
What were some of the priorities you looked at when deciding where you wanted to commit?
First, I really thought about the environment and playing opportunities. But, what really got me to commit were the coaches; I really liked the coaching staff. The other part was the academic programming. The fact that they have physical therapy for a major fits perfectly for what I want to do.
What challenges do you see ahead of you before you get to campus?
I will say that getting stronger and having my body ready before freshman year. I also want to keep getting good grades in school .
What are some of the goals you have set for yourself as a college baseball player?
Some goals that I have set are to become a better player on the field and being a starting player, whether it is in the outfield or being a starting pitcher.
Is there anybody you would like to give a shout-out or thanks to?
Yes I want to shout out Top Tier and Kangaroo Court for giving me the opportunity to play for their organization. And a huge thank you to coach Andy Fleischacker and Coach Jason Miller for helping me through this process.
