Cal Coughlin (2016) top tier alum has got his 1st relief appearance going 2 innings in the first game for TCU in the College World Series vs. Florida. He came in with runners on 1st and 2nd and got out of the jam allowing no runs in the 5th. Then he went out for another inning and threw another clean frame in the 6th. In his two innings of work he gave up 0 runs on 2 hits while striking out 1.

TCU now faces off in an elimination game today vs. Texas A&M. They are currently 47-17 on the year and Coughlin as a freshman has 1.64 ERA in 22 innings of relief work.
