Arkansas has found an ace in Hunter Dietz, Mississippi State is getting the most out of Jack Bauer at the right time and guys like Cade Kurland and CJ Deckinga are getting hot at the dish with just a few weeks of the 2026 campaign remaining.
Here's what went down last week:
Hunter Dietz (Arkansas) delivered another strong outing Thursday against Missouri, earning his second straight win and his third in the last four starts. He worked seven innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits while striking out eight. Arkansas edged Missouri 5-4 and went on to take the series, with Dietz adding to his SEC leading 92 strikeouts.
