Chris Seropian joins Top Tier HQ staff as Director of Performance

Top Tier Baseball and Top Tier HQ are excited to announce the addition of Christopher Seropian to its staff as HQ’s Director of Performance. Seropian joins an already established and credible group of instructors to help lead the
Transformational Throwing Program (TTP) and Transformational Performance Training (TPT).

Seropian is a Top Tier Baseball alum, having played with the program from 9U through 17U. He’s stayed involved with the program post-high school by coaching and instructing throughout his college career.

“Everyone at Top Tier has helped me tremendously,” said Seropian. “They helped me get recruited at the Division I level, to JUCO and beyond. Every single step of the way they helped me. I just want to give back to this program and these athletes. I’m excited to take the next step and help players off the field."

Seropian is a graduate of St. Laurence High School in Burbank, Ill. where he finished at the top of his class becoming the school’s valedictorian in 2020. After high school, Seropian went on to play at Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Division I program in the Northeast Conference. He then transferred to Lake Land College before finishing his career at Lewis University.

“We’re excited to have Chris as a part of our staff,” said Seth Kenny, Director of Teams. “He recognizes what it takes to make players better in our program because he’s been around us and understands our mission. His credentials speak for themselves, and he’s pitched at a high level and understands how the body moves. He’s a perfect fit, professionally and personally, to help with the TTP and TPT and will partner well with myself and Dylan Rajkovich."

As Director of Performance, Seropian brings enhanced knowledge of strength and conditioning to the program. He earned an associate degree in pre-medicine from Lake Land College and graduated with his bachelor’s in exercise science from Lewis University. Alongside coaching and helping run the TTP and TPT, he is working on a Master of Science degree in exercise science and is a grad assistant strength and conditioning coach/sports science at Saint Xavier University.

Seropian was coached by Seth Kenny and Matt Plante during his playing tenure. Both provided immense help and exposure as an uncommitted prospect. He’s excited to help develop and advance players in their baseball careers as they both had done for him.

“With Seth and Plante, they have connections across the country,” said Seropian. “When I was getting recruited, they were reaching out to schools that I didn’t even know they were reaching out to. That helped me get recruited. Connections are the biggest thing in baseball right now, especially for recruiting. Seth and Plante are very respected, and coaches trust what they have to say.”

Eager to develop players within the program, safety and health are core pillars for Seropian as he enters his first offseason.

“Playing for five years and having the two injuries that I’ve had, I wish I knew what I know now,” said Seropian. “I would’ve trained differently. I think there’s a right and wrong way to train. We’re going to maximize the athlete’s potential each and every day.”
