After an impressive week at the Tournament of Stars in Cary, North Carolina, Cooper Johnson has been chosen as part of the 40-man roster and to participate in the trails process for a spot on the USA Baseball 18U National team this summer.
The first round of trials will be taking place in Cary this week, after which the roster will be cut down to 28. Those players will then travel to Los Angeles for another round of trials in August where the final 20-man roster will be solidified.
The 18U National team will be traveling to Osaka, Japan to compete in the WBSC 18U Baseball World Cup from August 28th to September 6th, 2015 after a pit-stop in Taiwan for team training from August 22nd to 25th.
