FULLERTON, Calif. --
Following the completion of the final phase of trials, the final 20-man roster for the 2015 USA Baseball 18U National Team was announced on Wednesday. The squad will remain in Fullerton, Calif., for the next two days where it will continue training alongside the 17U National Team Development Program.

The 20 players selected to the final roster for the 18U National Team will look to defend its gold medal from the 2013 WBSC 18U/'AAA' World Cup, when it competes in the 2015 WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in Nishinomiya, Japan. The 18U National Team has won gold medals in each of the last four years, including back-to-back World Cups in 2012 and 2013.

In 2015, the 18U National Team will be led by Barbe (La.) High School head coach Glenn Cecchini, a veteran of numerous Team USA identification events. Cecchini is joined by assistant coaches Eric Kibler and David Eckstein, pitching coach Greg Moore, certified athletic trainer Josh Cohen and strength and conditioning coach Eric Cressey. The team administration will be overseen by 18U National Team director Shaun Cole.
