The 15u Nationals-White were back at it this weekend, playing in the PG Super 25 Qualifier in Lynwood, IL. The team was locked in and had strong performances from different players over the weekend. No player was able to turn the head of Coach TJ Marik more than infielder Evan Chatterjee. The right-hand hitting third basemen had an explosive weekend at the plate. Chatterjee went an impressive 3-7 with 5 RBI’s one of which was a three-run home run against the 29ers. Undoubtedly, these are the types of performances coach Marik wants to see going forward in the teams later tournaments. If some of the other players can follow Chatterjee’s approach at the plate, then maybe the Nationals-White will come home with a trophy or two before August comes along.
