Mike Bieterman is entering his sophomore season as a catcher for the Hawks. After this season Bieterman has signed to pay his junior season at Albeliene Christian. Last season, Bieterman appeared in 35 games posting a .303 batting average.
Shakur Jackson is entering his sophomore season as an infielder for the Hawks. Last season, Jackson appeared in 25 games, hitting .345. 
Levi Ransom is entering his sophomore season as an outfielder for the Hawks. Last season, Ransom saw limited action hitting .500 with 3 RBI's in 8 games.
Brett Taucher is entering his sophomore season as a RHP for the Hawks. Last season, Taucher pitched at SIUE out of the bullpen. Last season at SIUE, Taucher pitched 12.2 innings striking out 13 with a 9.95 ERA.
