Paul DeJong continues to break his own personal records and St. Louis Cardinals shortstop records, as he hit his 26th home run of the year vs. the Giants last night. This marks a career-high for DeJong and marks the most homeruns by a Cardinals shortstop in a single season. The Cardinals behind DeJong's success have managed to be 1st in the NL Central with a 79-61 record and are up 2.5 games on the Cubs.
