Spring Breakout is back! The spring training event highlighted by baseball’s top prospects has returned for its third year and will take place beginning this Thursday, March 19 through Sunday, March 22.

This four-day event allows MLB clubs to pit their best up-and-coming talent against one another for a weekend dedicated to future stars. 16 matchups throughout the weekend will take place at spring training stadiums in the Grapefruit League and Cactus League.

This year, 11 Top Tier alums will showcase their talents in what has become one of the most anticipated Spring Training events since its inception.
Headlining the list of alums set to take the field this weekend is Aidan Miller, Ryan Sloan and Brendan Summerhill. Miller is the No. 23 prospect in baseball and Sloan is listed at No. 33, according to MLB.com. Summerhill is No. 21 in the Tampa Bay Rays org. The 2025 Competitive Balance round draft pick is set to begin his first full professional season, beginning with Spring Breakout.

Jackson Kent is in his second Spring Breakout event after playing with the rest of the Nationals prospects a season ago.
Nate George had a stellar 2025 season in the Baltimore Orioles system, earning the organization’s Minor League Player of the Year award.

Sam Antonacci has become a fan favorite in the White Sox organization and is a standout on the Team Italy World Baseball Classic roster. The Coastal Carolina alum will participate in his first Spring Breakout event.

Trevor Harrison will pitch in his second Spring Breakout and play alongside Summerhill, as he did with Bob Seymour in 2025.
Conor Essenburg, Peyton Olejnik, Luke Adams and Landen Maroudis will represent their clubs in the weekend event, with Olejnik leading the charge with a 3:10 pm CT start on Thursday.
