Super 60 Preview

On Sunday, Feb. 1, the Super 60 Pro Showcase returns to The MAX in the 24th annual event of its kind. The invitation-only event features some of the top draft prospects in the 2026 class, and it has an illustrious history with many first rounders and future big leaguers who have left their mark.

Top Tier Baseball will have three alums, TJ McQuillan, Caleb Cox and Chase Wilk, on-hand to display their talents in front of 75+ MLB scouting personnel. McQuillan, Cox and Wilk will join a long line of Top Tier players who have participated in the Super 60 since its inception.

Just last year, Conor Essenburg and CJ Deckinga attended the Super 60 and showed incredibly well. Deckinga was all-around one of the biggest winners of the event and garnered plenty of praise from Prep Baseball scouting staff. Deckinga opted to attend Michigan State. Essenburg also showed well and eventually went on to be drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 MLB Draft.

Other notable Top Tier participants include Ben Hernandez (2nd round; Kansas City Royals, Brendan Summerhill (Comp Round; Tampa Bay Rays), Bobby Seymour (13th round; Tampa Bay Rays) and Luke Adams (12th round; Milwaukee Brewers).

McQuillan, the Mt. Carmel standout and Wake Forest commit, is the No. 3-ranked prospect in Illinois. Nationally, he's ranked No. 112. He has always been known as a power bat from the left side.

In Prep Baseball Illinois' Signing Day ACC Outlook, here's what they said about McQuillan: "The No. 3 ranked player in Illinois and No. 112 ranked player nationally, has shown consistently easy power at the plate to all fields with a polished approach that has resulted in success. Featuring a strong feel for the barrel, McQuillan has been up to a 102 mph max EV with an average EV of 98 mph in-event."

McQuillan has been on the draft circuit for quite some time, having appeared at the Area Code Games and PG All-American Classic. He'll now have a chance to show out at The MAX, where he's spent countless hours throughout the years.

Wilk, part of Bishop Gorman's talented roster, is the No. 13-ranked prospect in Nevada. He's a Minnesota commit and played with the Top Tier Americans this past summer.

Another power bat, Wilk has displayed his ability to swing it time and time again -- most recently at the Prep Baseball Senior Future Games in Georgia where he sent a ball to the opposite field, off the wall, in his first at-bat.

Wilk's Prep Baseball profile was the most viewed profile in Nevada in 2025, proving he garnered a ton of attention last year. He'll have a chance to display his tools in front of a packed MAX on Sunday.

Cox is a new addition to the Super 60 roster following a great showing at the Prep Baseball Illinois ProCase. At the event earlier this week, Cox was the biggest winner up to 95 mph.

A Springfield, Ill. native, Cox showed strong off-speed stuff which impressed the Illinois staff.

Cox, a Northern Illinois commit, is ranked No. 30 in the state. He'll be on one of the biggest stages yet this weekend in McCook.

We'll be on hand to cover the Super 60 and look forward to great showings from Wilk, Cox and McQuillan. Be sure to follow along on our social channels for coverage and updates.
