It was a one of a kind summer for Top Tier alum, Connor Riley. The University of South Carolina Aiken RHP spent his summer in the Coastal Plain League, playing for the Wilmington Sharks. As one of their starting pitchers he had one of the best season's in the league's history. In 66 and 2/3 innings he had 2 complete games, a 6-3 record, and a 2.03 era. He also piled up 100 strikeouts and only 19 walks. After the dust settled, the Coastal Plain League voted him to the First Team All-CPL Team as well as the league's Pitcher of the Year.
