Tanner Roark helping the Oakland Athletics make a MLB playoff push for a Wildcard spot


Tanner Roark after being traded from the Cincinnati Reds to the Oakland Athletics after the All-Star break has been helping his new team make a push into the MLB Playoffs as a Wild Card team. Since being at Oakland, Roark has made 5 starts in the month of August going 2-1 on the mound with 11 runs allowed in 30 innings of work while striking out 27. On the year, between the Reds and the A's, Roark is 8-8 with a 4.04 ERA. Roark is looking to get back to the MLB Playoffs since his time as a Washington National.
