For the third year in a row, Top Tier’s very own, Todd Fine was once again the pitching coach for USA Baseball’s 12u National Team. This year the team went to Cuautlancingo, Puebla, Mexico for the COPABE Pan Am "A" Championships. The tournament ran July 29th – August 7th.
At this year’s tournament, Team USA once again found themselves in the gold medal game. They arrived by way of going 7-1, with their only loss coming at the hands of Mexico. In the end, Coach Fine and the 12u National Team were stymied by Mexico’s bullpen, losing in the title game 7-2 and taking home the silver medal.
