Major League Baseball top performers from our Top Tier Alumni this past week.

Tanner Roark, Washington Nationals
Got the start versus Philadelphia this past Thursday. He threw well again getting a no decision tossing 7 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks and 6 strikeouts. He is 2-2 on the year with a 2.03 ERA.

Rob Scahill, Pittsburgh Pirates
Made 2 appearances this past week versus Colorado, going a total of 1.2 innings, where he gave up 2 hits, 1 run, and had 2 walks. He has made 8 appearances on the year and has 6.0 ERA.

Minor League Baseball top performers from our Top Tier Alumni this past week.

Paul DeJong, Springfield Cardinals (Cardinals)
Had a monster offensive week going 7 for 23, hitting an impressive .304. This week’s offensive outburst included his 1st home run of the year, along with 4 doubles and 3 RBI’s. On the year, he is now has a batting average of .273.

Karch Kowalczyk, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Dodgers)
Made 2 appearances this past week going a total of 2 innings. In those innings he gave up a total of 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks and struck out 1. He has made 6 appearances on the year and has an ERA of 1.42.

Ryan Koziol, Augusta GreenJackets (Giants)
Made 2 appearances this past week going a total of 2.2 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 earned runs, 1 walk and striking out 1. He has made 8 appearances on the year and lowered his ERA to 4.61.

Jeremy Rhoades, Inland Empire 66ers (Angels)
Got 2 more starts this past week, taking the loss in both, putting his record at 1-4 on the year.  However, he has got 6 innings and 5 innings in respectively in both those starts, giving up 15 combined hits, 8 earned runs, 1 walk, while striking out 9. On the year in his 5 starts he has a 6.0 ERA.

Kyle Hunter, Jackson Generals (Mariners)
Got called up the the Double A team this past Monday, where he made 1 relief appearance giving up 4 hits, 1 earned run, 0 walks and striking out 1.

Danny Mayer, Pacific
Had another huge offensive week going 8 for 18, hitting .444 on the week. During this hot streak at the plate, he added another home run, 3 doubles and 2 RBI’s. Pacific lost all four games this week but Danny now has 12 home runs and 14 doubles on the year.

Louis Niemerg, Maryville
Had a huge weekend at the plate, going 7 for 14, hitting .500 on the weekend. He had 2 home runs, one of which was of the walk off fashion, and added 3 RBI’s. His power numbers helped Maryville take 3 of 4 games on the weekend from Drury.

Michael Schalasky, Indianapolis
Got a huge win on the weekend vs. Illinois Springfield, going 6.2 innings giving up 0 runs on 5 hits, 2 walks, while striking out 4.  UIndy split 2 games a piece against Illinois Springfield.

Frankie Perrone, Eastern Illinois
Went 5 for 12 this past weekend vs. Eastern Kentucky, hitting .416 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI’s. It wasn’t enough however as they lost all 3 games vs EKU.

Corey Krupske, Triton CC
Went 8 for 18 this past week, hitting .444 with 4 doubles, a triple and 4 RBI’s.

Ben Browdy, Wash U
Went 6 for 15 this past weekend, hitting .400 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI’s. He had a hit in all four games vs. DePauw but his team lost 3 of 4 against them.

Wyatt Spector, DePauw
Got the win vs. Wash U going 8.2 innings giving up 6 hits, 1 run, 2 walks, and striking out 7. DePauw took 3 of 4 games vs. Wash U this past weekend.

Jesse Forestell, Western Michigan
Went 4 for 11 this past weekend vs. Toledo, hitting .364 with a hit in every game and 2 RBI’s. The Broncos took 2 of 3 from Toledo this past weekend.

Brian Musielak, Concordia-Chicago
Threw 5 innings of relief to pick up the win vs. Webster. In those innings he only gave up 2 hits, 0 runs, 4 walks and struck out 4. He helped Concordia-Chicago improve its overall record to 27-9 on the year.

David Meade, Illinois State
Went 4 innings in relief vs. Evansville giving up 1 hit, 0 runs, 3 walks and striking out 3.

Mark Chemello, Saint Joseph’s College
Made 3 relief appearances this past weekend, going a total of 3.1 innings, giving up 1 hit, 1 run, 1 walk while striking out 2.

Jack Landwehr, Illinois State
Made 3 appearances this past week, throwing a total of 5.1 innings, giving up 6 hits, 3 runs, 1 walk and striking out 3. He picked up the win in relief vs. Evansville and helped them take 2 of 3 on the weekend.  They also beat Purdue in the mid-week game.

Austin Butts, McHenry CC
Picked up his 1st save of the year vs. Milwaukee Tech CC going 2.2 innings giving up only 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks while striking out 3. McHenry CC beat Elgin twice and Milwaukee Tech twice this week.

Jack Czeszewski, Illinois State
Made 2 appearances this past week, tossing 2.1 innings, giving up 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks and striking out 2.

Trey Schramm, Xavier
Threw 2 innings of relief on the weekend vs. Butler, giving up 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks and struck out 2. Xavier won all 3 games vs. Butler on the weekend.

Aaron Fuller, John A. Logan CC
Went 4 for 8 this past weekend, hitting .500 with 2 home runs and 6 RBI’s.

Ryan Fish, Jefferson CC (MO)
Has a solid weekend going 3 for 7 hitting .429 with a double and 3 RBI’s. His performances helped Jefferson CC take 3 of 4 games from North Central Missouri.

Zack Wade, DePauw
Went 3 for 7 on the weekend vs. Wash U, hitting .429 on the weekend in two starts.

Chris Marras, Butler
Had a hit all 3 games this past weekend vs. Xavier, going 4 for 12, hitting .333 with a home run, a double and an RBI. Butler lost all 3 games vs. Xavier this past weekend.

Justin Kelly, Wayne State
Went 3 for 10 on the weekend vs. Findlay, hitting .300 with 2 RBI’s.  Wayne State took 3 of 4 from Findlay on the weekend.
