Major League Baseball top performers from our Top Tier Alumni this past week.
 

Tanner Roark, Washington Nationals
Got the win vs. Philadelphia this past week going 7 innings giving up 4 hits, 2 runs, 2 walks and striking out 4. He is 4-4 on the year with a 2.70 ERA.

Rob Scahill,
 Pittsburgh Pirates
Got called back up to the big league squad this past week and made 3 appearances in relief vs. Arizona and Texas. He went 3 total innings and gave up 2 hits, 0 earned runs, 0 walks and struck out 2. He has a 4.0 ERA while being up with the Pirates.

Tyler Ladendorf, Oakland Athletics
Got two pinch hit appearances this past week and continues to be a late defensive replacement at second base for the A's.

Ryan Borucki, Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays)
Got 2 wins this past week in his two starts. 1st game this week he went 6 innings giving up 5 hits, 0 earned runs, 2 walks while striking out 6. In his 2nd game he went 7 innings giving up 7 hits, 3 earned runs, 1 walk while striking out 2.

Kyle Hunter, Jackson Generals (Mariners)
Made 2 appearances this past week going a total of 4 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 earned runs, 1 walk and struck out 1.

Ryan Koziol, Augusta GreenJackets
Made 2 appearances this past week going a total of 3.2 innings giving up 5 hits, 0 earned runs, 0 walks while striking out 4. He has a 3.0 ERA on the year. 

Karch Kowalczyk, Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Dodgers)
Made 3 appearances this past week going a total of 2.1 innings giving up 5 hits, 3 runs, 2 walks and struck out 1. He has a 3.14 ERA on the year.

Jeremy Rhoades, Inland Empire 66ers (Angels)
Got one start this past week going 3.2 innings giving up 8 hits, 7 earned runs, 3 walks and struck out 1.

Trey Schramm, Xavier
Made 2 relief appearances in the Big East Championships.  1st game he helped them win vs. St. John's going 2 innings giving up 2 hits, 1 earned run, 1 walk while striking out 1. Then in the Championship vs. Creighton he picked up the win throwing 3.2 innings of relief.  Xavier won the Big East Championships and move on the NCAA Regional vs. Vanderbilt in the 1st round.

Matt Fallon, Xavier
Had a hit in all three games in the Big East Championships going 5 for 10, hitting .500 for the tournament, helping them get to the NCAA Regional vs. Vanderbilt.

Charley Gould, William & Mary
Went 5 for 17 in the CAA Championships, helping his team win the CAA vs. UNCW to get them into a NCAA Regional vs. Virginia in the 1st round.

Brian Rodemeyer, Illinois State
Went 4 for 8, hitting .500 in their two games in the Missouri Valley Championships.  His team lost both games and were eliminated from the playoffs.

Jesse Forestell, Western Michigan
Went 0-1 with a walk in 2 pinch hit appearances in the MAC Championships.  His team won the MAC Championships and move onto the NCAA Regional vs. Louisville.

Peyton Isaacson, Coastal Carolina
Was a contributing member of a team that won the Big South Championships and made it to the NCAA Regional vs. St. Mary's in the NC State Region.  Coastal is ranked #17 in the nation.
