Top Tier Baseball Announces Southern Expansion with Top Tier Southwest

MCCOOK, Ill. – Top Tier Baseball is excited to announce the addition of Top Tier Southwest as its newest hub in the South. Top Tier Southwest is comprised of teams from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.

"Adding our footprint to four new territories is an exciting step for Top Tier," said Todd Fine, CEO of Top Tier Baseball. "Welcoming this talent-rich area of the country into our organization brings great opportunities for the brand and all involved."

Top Tier Southwest will be run by Mike Hamilton and Andrew Meier, whose relationships and connections run deep in the Southwest region of the country. Since 2020, Hamilton and Meier have grown the program from a regional organization in the DFW area into one with national ties.

"We're excited about our move to Top Tier for many reasons, but what stood out most was their unwavering commitment to player development and scouting," said Hamilton and Meier, Managing Directors at Top Tier Southwest. "Their emphasis on helping athletes improve while connecting them with college coaches and professional scouts aligns perfectly with our mission. We believe this partnership creates incredible opportunities for our players and families, and we're excited about what's ahead."

The program, headquartered in the DFW area, boasts facilities full of amenities, equipped with full-time nutritionists, strength and conditioning coaches and a scouting department. This, along with strong baseball knowledge and experience offers a blueprint for player success.

"Southwest's player-first mentality and drive for development matches the Top Tier Baseball standard set over 20 years ago," said Chris Tierney, Vice President of Business Development. "Our values and cultures align, and we're looking forward to bringing the longstanding tradition of excellence to the players and families of the Southwest region."

Top Tier Southwest will bring a hard-nosed, player-first brand of baseball to the field beginning in the fall of 2026. Old school baseball with new-age player development will allow for top-notch exposure and recognition heading into this new era.

About Top Tier Baseball

Top Tier Baseball began in 2004 with one 18U team. That team became a national brand, quickly, traveling the country and showcasing its talent in prestigious tournaments. That team went on to win 40+ games and featured big leaguers, John Ely, Rob Scahill and Tanner Roark.

In total, 89 Top Tier Baseball players have been drafted, with six coming in 2025. Headlining that group is Brendan Summerhill, a Competitive Balance round pick (No. 42 overall) by the Tampa Bay Rays. Over 1,000 Top Tier players have committed to play college baseball.

Top Tier has evolved since its inception to one of the elite amateur baseball organizations in the country. The strength of our program lies in our commitment in developing players and building confidence through hard work and dedication. This very commitment has manifested itself on the diamond in some of the largest and most prestigious tournaments in amateur baseball.

Top Tier has three active Major Leaguers – Andrew Hoffmann (Diamondbacks), Ryan Borucki (Giants) and Sam Antonacci (White Sox).
