Top Tier Baseball and Dugout Baseball partner to form Top Tier Dugout; expands Ohio Valley presence

Top Tier Baseball is excited to announce a partnership with Dugout Baseball Club to form Top Tier Dugout beginning in fall 2026. Top Tier Dugout is located in Worthington, Ohio and marks the program's first expansion in the Buckeye State.

“We’re thrilled to add Dugout to our team and expand our footprint in the Ohio Valley,” said Chris Tierney, Vice President of Business Development. “Brian and staff have done a great job since Dugout’s inception and we look forward to working closely with them once the fall hits."

The Dugout club launched in 2021 with one team. Over the years, the program has grown steadily and intentionally to double-digit teams with committed families throughout.

“Partnering with Top Tier Baseball is a great opportunity for the program, the players and parents,” said Brian Mohr, Director of Top Tier Dugout. “It puts our players at the intersection of high-level competition, recruiting and exposure.”

Dugout Baseball & Performance is a 6,000-square-foot facility home to 10 teams spanning from 10U-18U and will serve as the main training facility for Top Tier Dugout. The facility, full of amenities, is conveniently located off of I-270 just north of Columbus.

“The athletes in our program want to learn and develop,” said Mohr. “Energy, effort and attitude are the key components to our success and we look forward to continuing to build a strong foundation within the Dugout facility.”

Tryouts for Top Tier Dugout will take place starting in June and early July at the youth levels. High School tryouts will be hosted in mid-to-late July. About Top Tier Baseball

Top Tier Baseball began in 2004 with one 18U team. That team became a national brand, quickly, traveling the country and showcasing its talent in prestigious tournaments. That team went on to win 40+ games and featured big leaguers, John Ely, Rob Scahill and Tanner Roark.

In total, 89 Top Tier Baseball players have been drafted, with six coming in 2025. Headlining that group is Brendan Summerhill, a Competitive Balance round pick (No. 42 overall) by the Tampa Bay Rays. Over 1,000 Top Tier players have committed to play college baseball.

Top Tier has evolved since its inception to one of the elite amateur baseball organizations in the country. The strength of our program lies in our commitment in developing players and building confidence through hard work and dedication. This very commitment has manifested itself on the diamond in some of the largest and most prestigious tournaments in amateur baseball.

Top Tier has three active Major Leaguers – Andrew Hoffmann (Diamondbacks), Ryan Borucki (Giants) and Sam Antonacci (White Sox).
