Top Tier D2/D3/NAIA/JUCO Dream Team for the 2019 Season:
The best of the rest of Top Tier Alumni in their respective collegiate baseball seasons




Outfielders:

Robert Chayka, Spoon River (JUCO)

Chayka had an unbelievable freshman year in JUCO, hitting .423 with 9 doubles, 5 triples, a homer, 21 RBI's, a slugging percentage of .577 and an on base percentage of .503.

Ashton Creal, John A. Logan (JUCO)

Creal was on fire all year as a sophomore at John A. Logan. Creal hit .395 on the year with 10 doubles, 2 triples, 3 homers, 36 RBI's, 38 stolen bases, a .546 slugging percentage and a .503 on base percentage. Creal was selected in the 21st round of the 2019 MLB Draft and has signed to play with the Cincinnati Reds now. 

Braden Mosley, Tennessee Wesleyan (NAIA)

Mosley was All-AAC Player of the Year along with a ton of other accolades. Mosley helped his team win the NAIA National Championship this year hitting .401 with 7 doubles, a triple, 16 homers, 58 RBI's, 15 stolen bases and a slugging percentage of .803. 

Infielders:

Louis Niemerg, Maryville (D2)

Niemerg had a great senior season hitting .310 with 15 doubles, a triple, 10 homers, 53 RBI's, a slugging percentage of .580 and an on base percentage of .425. 

Garrett Goetz, Waubonsee Valley CC (JUCO)

Goetz had a great freshman year at Waubonsee Valley CC hitting .378 with 23 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homers, 44 RBI's, 16 stolen bases, a slugging percentage of .557 and an on base percentage of .442. 

Vincent Massaglia, Illinois Central College (JUCO)

Massaglia had a great freshman season at ICC hitting .391 with 19 doubles, 2 triples, 7 homers, 46 RBI's and a slugging percentage of .651 on the year. 

Mitch Owens, Augustana (D3)

Owens had a great junior season at Augustana hitting .340 with 8 doubles, 2 homers, 31 RBI's and an on base percentage of .452 on the year. 

Catcher:

Justin Kelly, Wayne State (D2)

Kelly finished his senior season with a bang helping his team Wayne State reach a D2 Regional. Kelly hit .329 on the year with 13 doubles, a triple, 10 homers, 50 RBI's, a slugging percentage of .594 and an on base percentage of .431. 

Utility:

Peyton Isaacson, Saint Leo (D2)

Isaacson finished his senior season at Saint Leo in dominating form. Isaacson hit .328 with 13 doubles, a triple, 9 homers, 49 RBI's, a slugging percentage of .537 and an on base percentage of .415. Isaacson also had a 2.35 ERA with 5 saves on the year. Isaacson didn't get picked up in the 2019 MLB Draft but in playing Independent Pro Baseball in the Frontier League with the Joliet Slammers.

Pitchers:

Andrew Zapka, Heartland CC (JUCO)

Zapka had a very good sophomore season at Heartland CC. Zapka went 5-1 as a starter for the Hawks with a 4.36 ERA with 53 strikeouts in 53.2 innings. Zapka is going to Dayton University next season.

Michael Oh, NIACC (JUCO)

Oh had a great sophomore season at NIACC as starting pitcher. Oh went 5-3 on the year with a 2.28 ERA with 73 strikeouts in 71 innings of work. Oh is going to North Carolina next season. 

Marius Balandis, Iowa Western (JUCO)

Balandis went 4-0 with a save in his sophomore season at Iowa Western. Balandis had a 3.72 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 19.1 innings of work. Balandis is going to Saint Louis University next season.

Malcolm Grady, Campbellsville (NAIA)

Grady finished his senior season with a team's best 1.60 ERA out of the bullpen. Grady was 2-1 with one save and had 44 strikeouts in 45 innings of work this year while holding opponents to a .195 batting average.
