Two Top Tier Players Chosen for Area Code Games

Top Tier sent two players out west for the Area Code games earlier this August. The games are hosted in sunny, southern California with games played at Cerritos College and Blair Field, home of the Long Beach State Dirtbags. Each event last 4 days with players going through workouts and playing games in front of professional scouts from across the Major Leagues.


2017 Xavier commit, Ryan Altenberger was selected as one of 28 players to play with the White Sox team from the Midwest region in this year’s Area Code Games.

2018 Louisville commit, Jake Rosing was also selected to play with the White Sox team for the Area Code Underclass Games.

The Area code games were started 30 years ago, and have seen over 500 Major League players participate in the event.
