Tyler Ladendorf a 2006 Maine West High School graduate and Top Tier alum is the newest assistant coach for the Marshall University baseball team. Ladendorf, who was a 2nd round pick in the 2008 MLB Draft out of Howard JC had a great playing career in the minor leagues then in April of 2015, Ladendorf got his shot to play in the Big Leagues with the Oakland Athletics. Tyler who played 11 years between the MLB an MiLB was hired in March of this year to be an assistant coach for Marshall University, where he will now begin his career in the coaching ranks instead of the playing ranks.
