Here are the highlights from Week #10 in college baseball at the D2/D3, NAIA and JUCO level by our Top Tier Alums:

Top Tier Alumni Player of the Week:

Connor Blake
, INF, Illinois Institute of Technology (D3)

Blake had multiple hits throughout the whole weekend against a really good Benedictine team this past weekend. Blake hit an unheard of average of .714 this past weekend with 10 hits that included 2 homers, 3 doubles and 10 RBI's. IIT ended up taking 3 of 4 games from Benedictine and improved to 15-7 overall on the year. 

Best of the Rest in College Baseball (D2/D3/NAIA/JUCO)

Nick Talarico, INF, Case Western (D3)

Talarico had  a hit in every game this past week, continuing to swing a hot stick. Talarico went 5 for 12 this past week with a homer, a double and collected 4 RBI's to help his squad beat Ohio Wesleyan twice and Franciscian twice to improve to 18-8 overall on the year. 

Jimmy Carey, INF, St. Charles CC (JUCO)

Carey had a great week at the plate going 8 for 18, hitting .444 with two doubles and 2 RBI's. St. Charles however lost twice to Illinois Central and once to Lindenwood, and split with Metropolitian to fall to 1819 overall.

Tommy Duddleston, INF, UW-Stevens Point (D3)

Duddleston went 6 for 16, hitting. 375 with a double and 2 RBI's to help UW-Stevens Point sweep UW-Eau Claire and improve to 22-7 overall on the year. 

Mitch Owens, 1B, Augustana (D3)

Owens had another great week at the plate going 7 for 20, hitting .350 with a homer, three doubles and collected 4 RBI's. Augustana beat North Central and Carthage along with taking 2 of 3 from Millikin this past week to improve to 26-6 overall. 

Jacob Lotz, LHP, Lewis (D2)

Lotz earned his 4th save this past weekend in relief for the Flyers where he threw a a perfect inning of work giving up 0 runs on 0 hits while striking out all three batters. Lewis beat St. Francis and Roosevelt this past weekend to improve to 21-14 overall on the year. 

Noah Manning, RHP, Iowa Western (JUCO)

Manning earned his 3rd save of the year throwing one inning of relief vs. North Iowa Area CC, where he gave up 1 run off 1 hit while striking out 1. Iowa Western swept North Iowa Area CC and also beat Iowa Lakes CC this past week to improve to 45-8 overall.

Brendan Holloway, OF, Oakton (JUCO)

Holloway went 6 for 19, hitting .316 this past week with an RBI for the Owls. Oakton is now 23-15 overall on the year. 

Brenden Heiss, RHP, Southeastern (NAIA)

Heiss made one relief appearance this past weekend, throwing a scoreless 2 innings giving up 0 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4. Southeastern beat Florida National and Ave Maria twice a piece to improve to 42-6 overall on the year. 

Anthony Rios, C, Lewis (D2)

Rios went 3 for 6 this past weekend with 3 doubles and 4 RBI's to help the Flyers beat St. Francis and Roosevelt twice to improve to 21-14 overall. 

Dave Navarro, C, IIT (D3)

Navarro went 3 for 9, hitting .333 this past weekend vs. Benedictine with a homer and 5 RBI's. IIT won 3 of 4 games vs. Benedictine to improve to 15-7 overall on the year. 

Jimmy Burnette, LHP, Saint Leo (D2)

Burnette had one of his best starts of the year where he went a complete game to get the win vs. Nova Southeastern. Burnette threw 7 innings giving up only 2 earned runs off only 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 9. Saint Leo lost 2 of 3 to Nova Southeastern and are now 8-16 overall. 

Nick Baldassano, INF, Aurora (D3)

Baldassano collected 5 hits this past week with a triple and 3 RBI's to help Aurora beat Rockford twice and sweep Concordia-Chicago over the weekend and improve to 30-4 overall. 

Will Gibbs, INF, Olney Central (JUCO)

Gibbs went 3 for 4 this past weekend in his two starts, as Olney Central lost twice to Wabash Valley and swept Kaskaskia to move to 30-16-1 overall on the year. 

Johnny Hernandez, C, Blackhawk (JUCO)

Hernandez continues to show off his power at the plate as he had 4 more hits this past week, with 2 more homers and collecting 4 more RBI's. Blackhawk bat Rock Valley and Illinois Valley twice, while losing to Madison twice to move to 32-10 overall on the year. 

Khyle Radcliffe, OF, Allen County (JUCO0

Radcliffe collected 5 hits this past week, with a homer, a double, and collected 3 RBI's. Allen County split with Crowley and lost 3 of 4 to Kansas City CC to fall to 25-17 overall. 

Eric Lundell, RHP, Concordia-St. Paul (D2)

Lundell made one relief appearance this past week vs. #11 ranked Minnesota State, where he went 0.2 innings giving up 0 runs off 1 hit while striking out 1. 

Luke Napleton, C, Quincy (D2)

Napleton made one start behind the dish this past weekend where he went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBI's. Quincy won 3 of 4 vs. Drury to improve to 26-9 overall. 

AJ Casmer, RHP, Lewis (D2)

Casmer made one relief appearance this past weekend, going 0.2 innings giving up 0 runs off only 1 hit while striking out 1. Lewis is now 21-14 overall on the year.
