Week #12: Division I College Baseball, Top Tier Alumni Roundup
Player of the Week:
Cam Minacci, RHP, Wake Forest
Minacci was lights out on the mound out of the bullpen for the Demon Deacons this past week. For the 3rd time this year, Minacci is our Player of the Week as he threw one inning of scoreless baseball against Liberty in the midweek game giving up 0 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2. He followed that up with a relief appearance vs. 10th ranked Louisville this past weekend tossing 4.1 scoreless innings giving up only 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 3. Wake Forest beat Liberty in the midweek game and went 1-1-1 vs. Louisville over the weekend to improve to 33-14-1 overall and 11-12-1 in the ACC.

Gavin Doyle, Western Michigan
Doyle collected hits in every game this past weekend and went 6 for 14, hitting .429 with a double and 8 RBI's. Western Michigan however lost 3 of 4 to Central Michigan and are 16-29 overall and 13-18 in the MAC.
Hunter Mink, South Florida
Mink earned a win in relief this past weekend vs. UCF after he tossed 4 innings giving up only one run off 4 hits and 0 walks while striking out 2. USF lost to Florida in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. UCF this past weekend to improve to 25-22 overall and 6-12 in the AAC.
Cam Redding, Saint Louis
Redding collected a lot of hits this past week as he went 5 for 12, hitting .417 with two doubles as SLU beat Rockhurst in the midweek game and won twice over the weekend vs. St. Joseph's. Saint Louis is now 25-19 overall and 11-6 in the A-10.
Bryce Barnett, Xavier
Barnett made one relief appearance this past weekend as Xavier rolled sweeping Butler in a 3-game set. In the finale, Barnett threw 1.1 scoreless innings giving up only 2 hits and 0 walks while striking out 2. Xavier is now 25-23 overall and 9-6 in the Big East.
Kevin Davis, USC-Upstate
Davis made two relief appearances this past week throwing a total of 1.2 innings giving up 0 runs off 0 hits and 1 walk. USC-Upstate lost to West Carolina in the midweek game but swept Longwood over the weekend to improve to 30-18 overall and 16-5 in the Big South.
Danny Doligale, Illinois
Doligale continues to stay hot at the plate, collecting hits in every game this past week going 5 for 15, hitting .333 with a double and an RBI. Illinois beat Indiana State and swept Miami (OH) over the weekend to improve to 26-19 overall and 12-6 in the Big Ten.
Renzo Gonzalez, Miami
Gonzalez had a great weekend for the 6th ranked Hurricanes, going 3 for 9, hitting .333 with a homer, a triple and 4 RBI's vs. North Dakota State. Miami swept North Dakota State and improved to 35-12 overall and 17-7 in the ACC.
Ryan Hampe, Illinois
Hampe went 3 for 9, hitting .333 over the weekend to help the Fighting Illini sweep Miami (OH) to improve to 26-19 overall and 12-6 in the Big Ten.
Chase Centala, Central Florida
Centala threw really well in relief this past weekend vs. USF going 6 innings giving up 1 run off 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 5. UCF lost 2 of 3 to USF and fell to 28-19 overall and 11-7 in the AAC.
Jeremy Gaines, Texas Southen
Gaines went 3 for 9, hitting .333 this past weekend with an RBI as Texas Southern swept Alcorn State and improved to 24-20 overall and 15-9 in the SWAC.
Keaton Rice, Bradley
Rice collected hits in every game this past week, going 5 for 14, hitting .294 with 3 doubles and 3 RBI's. Bradley beat Western Illinois in the midweek game and took 2 of 3 from Indiana State to improve to 16-25 overall and 7-8 in the MAC.
Sean Sinisko, Illinois State
Sinisko threw well in his start this past weekend vs. Evansville going 5.1 innings giving up 2 runs off 7 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4. ISU beat Iowa in the midweek game but got swept by Evansville over the weekend and slipped to 18-25 overall and 5-10 in MVC.
Stephen Hill, Liberty
Hill collected 3 hits this past week with a double and 2 RBI's. Liberty lost to Wake Forest in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. Jacksonville over the weekend to improve to 30-16 overall and 16-8 in the A-Sun.
Blake Wright, Clemson
Wright went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI this past weekend vs. #21 ranked Georgia Tech. Clemson swept Georgia Tech and improved to 31-17 overall and 9-14 in the ACC.
Marc DeGusipe, Florida Atlantic
DeGusipe made two appearances this past weekend throwing a total of 2 innings giving up 2 runs off 2 hits and 0 walks while striking out 3. FAU won 2 of 3 vs. Louisiana Tech to improve to 30-18 overall and 15-9 in C-USA.
Noah Berghammer, Minnesota
Berghammer collected 2 hits this past weekend with his 1st collegiate homerun, a double and 2 RBI's as the Gophers won 2 of 3 vs. Nebraska to improve to 14-31 overall and 4-14 in the Big Ten.
