MLB Roundup:

Tanner Roark, Washington Nationals

Roark got another win this past week vs the St. Louis Cardinals, tossing 6 innings giving up 3 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 1. Roark threw again later in the week getting a no-decision vs the Phillies going only 3 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit while striking out 1. Roark is now 8-12 on the year with a 4.05 ERA.

Paul DeJong, St. Louis Cardinals

DeJong collected 4 more hits this past week with a double and 4 RBI's. DeJong is hitting .236 on the year and has the Cardinals back in contention in the NL Central Division.

Ryan Borucki, Toronto Blue Jays
Borucki had his worst outing as a big leaguer vs. the Yankees this past week, only going 0.2 innings giving up 6 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks. Borucki has a 4.27 ERA since being called up to the Blue Jays.

MiLB Roundup:

Rob Scahill, Charlotte Knights (Affiliate of Chicago White Sox) Triple A

Scahill made one relief appearance this past week going 0.2 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit while striking out 2. Scahill has a 4.94 ERA on the year.

Jeremy Rhoades, Salt Lake Bees (Affiliate of Los Angeles Angels) Triple A

Rhoades made 3 relief appearances this past week going a total of 3.1 innings giving up only 1 run on 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3. Rhoades has been on fire since the All-Star break and has his ERA down to a 3.26 in Triple A.

Tyler Ladendorf, Jackson Generals (Affiliate of Arizona Diamondbacks) Double A

Ladendorf finally came back from the Disabled-List and went 2 for 5 in 3 games this past week. 

Karch Kowalczyk, Tulsa Drillers (Affiliate of Los Angeles Dodgers) Double A

Kowalczyk also finally came of the Disabled-List and got one inning of relief in this past week giving up 2 runs on 3 hits while striking out 1. 

Jason Goldstein, Midland RockHounds (Affiliate to Oakland Athletics) Double A

Goldstein made two starts this past week going 1 for 8 with a double and two walks.

Blake Hickman, Winston-Salem Dash (Affiliate to Chicago White Sox) High A

Hickman didn't play at all this week. Hickman owns a 7.42 ERA with his club this year.

Adam Walton, Visalia Rawhide (Affiliate to Arizona Diamondbacks) High A

Walton went 4 for 12 this past week with an RBI. Walton is hitting .260 on the year. 

Ryan Koziol, Augusta GreenJackets (Affiliate to San Francisco Giants) Low A 
Koziol in still on the Disabled List and has been since July 3rd.

Zach Lewis, Kannapolis Intimidators (Affiliate to Chicago White Sox) Low A

Lewis made two starts this past week, collecting 2 wins and going a total of 14 innings giving up only 1 run on 9 hits and 2 walks while striking out 15. Lewis now has a 2.82 ERA and has pitching great for his club.

Will Kincanon, Kannapolis Intimidators (Affiliate to Chicago White Sox) Low A

Kincanon made one relief appearance this past week going 1.2 innings giving up 0 runs on 0 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. Kincanon has a 4.33 ERA on the year.

Danny Mayer, Williamsport Crosscutters (Affiliate to Philadelphia Phillies) Low A Shortseason

Mayer went 3 for 11 this past week with 2 RBI's. Mayer is hitting .263 with his Williamsport team.

Sean Hjelle, Salem-Keizek Volcanoes (Affiliate to San Francisco Giants) Low A Shortseason

Hjelle made one relief appearance this past week going 2 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3. 

Michael Costanzo, Princeton Rays (Affiliate to Tampa Bay Rays) Low A Rookie League

Costanzo made two relief appearances this past week, picking up to big saves. In total, Costanzo went 2.1 innings giving up 0 runs on 3 hits while striking out 2. Costanzo has a 2.35 ERA with 6 saves on the year.

Marshawn Taylor, AZL D-Backs (Affiliate to Arizona Diamondbacks) Low A Rookie League

Taylor went 0 for 12 this past week and is currently hitting .186 on the year.

Ryan Dunne, Billings Mustangs (Affiliate to Cincinnati Reds) Low A Rookie League

Dunne made 2 relief appearances and collected a pair of saves this past week. Dunne went a total of 2 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and 4 walks while striking out 3.  Dunne has a 3.38 ERA on the year.

Independent Baseball

Joe Benson, Chicago Dogs (Independent League) American Association
Benson went 0 for 5 with a walk this past week. Benson is hitting .279 on the season.

Kylin Turnbull, Chicago Dogs (Independent League) American Association
Turnbull didn't throw at all this past week for the Dogs. Turnbull has a 4.61 ERA on the year.

Mitch Glasser, Sioux Falls Canaries (Independent League) American Association
Glasser collected a hit in every game this past week, going 7 for 24 with a double and 4 RBI's. Glasser is leading his team in average this year with a .309 batting average.

Mitch Schulewitz, Schaumburg Boomers (Independent League) Frontier League
Schulewitz didn't pitch at all this week. 

Jack Landwehr, Normal Cornbelters (Independent League) Frontier League
Landwehr made two starts this past week, picking up a win and a no-decision. Landwehr went a total of 7.2 innings giving up 5 runs on 12 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. 

Anthony Ray, Pennsylvania Road Warriors (Independent League) Atlantic League
Ray went 4 for 13 this past week. Ray is hitting . 237 on the year.
