Patrick Rumoro, Louisville @PRumoro
Rumoro had an unbelievable week in the 3 games he played in this past week. Rumoro helped the 10th ranked Cardinals beat Xavier in the mid-week and sweep Western Carolina on the weekend. Rumoro went 5 for 10, hitting .500 on the week with 3 RBI’s and is the staple behind the dish as the Cardinals everyday starting catcher. Louisville looking to make another run at the College World Series have improved to 11-0 overall with Rumoro hitting .333 on the year, which is currently 3rd on the team.
Quinn Snarskis, Illinois @SnarskiAndHutch
Snarskis got the start this past weekend in the Pac 12/Big Ten Challenge vs. #11 ranked, UCLA. Snarskis threw a gem helping his Fighting Illini beat UCLA by tossing 5.2 innings giving up 0 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. Illinois went on to also beat Arizona and Washington and improve their record to 6-3 overall on the year.
Mark DiLuia, Maryland @MDiLuia24
DiLuia got his 1st collegiate start as a freshman vs. VCU in the mid-week game. DiLuia ended up going 4 innings giving up 0 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 7. Maryland picked up three more wins on the weekend defeating Radford, Coastal Carolina and Ball State as well and improve to 7-4 overall on the year.
Cal Coughlin, TCU @Calcogz22TT
Coughlin continues to be a workhorse out of the bullpen for the #3 ranked Horned Frogs. Coughlin made two more appearances this past weekend vs. UC-Irvine going a total of 3 innings giving up 0 runs on only 1 hit while striking out 2. On the year, Coughlin has yet to give up a run in his 9 innings of work in 6 appearances. TCU is now 7-3 overall after taking 2 out of 3 vs. UC-Irvine over the weekend.
Peyton Isaacson, Saint Leo @TheMagnum_PI
Isaacson after a stellar week where he won Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, backed it up with another huge performance and continues to dominate at the Division 2 level. Isaacson went 7 for 13, hitting .538 this past weekend with 3 more homeruns, a double and racked up 6 more RBI’s. Not only was he dominate at the plate again vs. Barry this past weekend he also added his 7th save to the resume in the finale on Sunday. To collect the save, Isaacson went 1 inning of scoreless baseball giving up 1 hit and striking out 2. Saint Leo is now ranked #18 in the nation in D2 and swept Barry over the weeknd. They have improved to 13-2 overall and are continuing to roll over the competition.
Sean Hjelle, Kentucky @Hjellebean
Hjelle improved to 3-0 on the year after picking up the win vs. #19 ranked Houston this past weekend in the Shriners Classic. Hjelle went 6 innings giving up only 1 earned run off 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2. The Wildcats also beat Sam Houston State and Louisiana-Lafayette in the Shriners Classic to improve to 11-1 overall and are ranked #7 in the nation.
Jordan Libman, Illinois State @Jordan_Libman
Libman had a great weekend as the everyday starter in the outfield vs. Morehead State. Libman went 5 for 10, hitting .500 with a double, 4 walks and collected 3 RBI’s. Illinois State took 2 of 3 from Morehead State over the weekend to improve to 5-4 overall. Libman is now hitting .474 on the year.
Neil Lambert, Bowling Green @neillambert14
Lambert collected a hit in all 5 games this past week, going 8 for 16, hitting .500 with a homerun, a double, 3 walks and 3 RBI’s. Bowling Green only were able to sneak out one win this past week and are now 3-9 overall. Lambert though is hitting .372 on the year with 7 stolen bases and is a huge part of the Falcons lineup.
Mike Costanzo, Austin Peay @CostanzoAP56
Costanzo moved to 2-0 on the year getting the win vs. Indiana State this past weekend. Costanzo continued to marvel as the Friday night guy for the Governors going 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8. The Governors took 2 of 3 from Indiana State on the weekend and improve to 8-3 overall.

Clayton went 11 for 20, hitting .550 in 6 games this past week with a two doubles, a triple and 8 RBI’s. John A. Logan won 5 games this past week and improved to 10-4 overall on the year.
Marius Balandis, Iowa Western CC @Baland1s
Balandis picked up his 1st collegiate win this past weekend beating Iowa Lakes CC. In his outing, Balandis tossed 5 innings giving up 0 runs on 4 hits while striking out 4. Iowa Western CC went on to sweep all 4 games vs. Iowa Lakes CC this past weekend to improve to 6-2 overall.
Wyatt Trautwein, UIC @wyatttrautwin
Trautwein made his 1st appearance out of the bullpen vs. Georgia Tech, where he went 3.1 innings of scoreless baseball on 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. UIC lost 2 of 3 this past weekend vs. Georgia Tech and are now 7-4 overall on the year.
Brian Schrimmer, Bradley @SchrimShady21
Schrimmer picked up the win in relief this past weekend going 2 innings giving up 0 runs on 0 hits while striking out 4. Schrimmer continues to pitch well out of the bullpen for the Braves, as they swept Belmont over the weekend.

Kruse picked up another win this past weekend vs. Saint Ambrose throwing a complete game, giving up 0 earned runs on 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3. Benedictine split vs. Saint Ambrose and are 7-8 overall on the year.

Zapka got his 1st collegiate save this past weekend as he went 2 innings giving up 0 runs and one walk while striking out 3 vs. Triton CC. Heartland went on to beat Triton twice and sweep all three games vs. Ellsworth this past week and are 5-0 overall to start the year.

Jackson in his 1st collegiate game went 1 for 3 with a homerun and 4 RBI’s. He followed that up with two 1 for 2 performances while collecting 3 more RBI’s. In his 1st weekend of play, Jackson went 3 for 7, hitting .429 with 7 RBI’s. Heartland is 5-0 overall to start the year.
Michael Schalasky, UIndy
Schalasky moved to 2-1 on the year, picking up a win on his start vs. Oakland City over the weekend. In his outing he went 5 innings giving up 0 earned runs on 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6. The Greyhounds swept Oakland City over the weekend and are currently at 7-2 overall.
Nate Tholl, Webster @natetholl_4
Tholl went 6 for 15, hitting .400 with 2 RBI’s for Webster. Webster is 3-2 to start the year and Tholl looks to be a difference maker for them this year at the plate.
Brett Newberg, Austin Peay @BrettNewb
Newberg got the win in relief this past weekend vs. Indiana State. In his relief appearance he went 2.1 innings of work giving up 1 run on 2 hits. The Governors took 2 of 3 from Indiana State and improved to 8-3 overall. Newberg is now 2-0 out of the bullpen on the year.
Robby McGaha, Olney Central CC @robbymc24
McGaha had a huge offensive week in Olney Central’s 5-1 week in South Carolina vs. various opponents. McGaha went 8 for 22, hitting .364 with a homerun, two triples, a double and collected 4 RBI’s. Olney Central is now 10-2 overall on the year.
Preston Perry, Adrian
Perry picked the win in relief on opening day vs. Huntingdon in his senior campaign. Perry went 3 innings giving up 0 runs on 0 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2. Perry made another appearance later in the week vs. Emory going 2 more innings giving up 0 earned runs on 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 2. Adrian went 3-2 over the week down in Georgia to start the year vs. various teams.
Bobby Seymour, Wake Forest @bobbyseymour127
Seymour went 4 for 12 this past weekend vs. UMass-Lowell, hitting .333 with 2 doubles, 2 walks and an RBI. The Demon Deacons took 2 of 3 vs. UMass-Lowell this past weekend and improve to 5-7 overall.
Richard Fordon, Northwestern
Fordon got a win in relief this past weekend vs. #23 ranked, Texas. Fordon tossed 1.2 innings giving up 0 runs on 2 hits while striking out 2. That was all that the Wildcats would get on the Longhorns however, as Texas won 3 of 4 on the weekend to push the Wildcats record at 3-7 overall.
Keaton Rice, Bradley @riceKrispy_
Rice continued to be steady in the box this past weekend vs. Belmont, going 3 for 9, hitting .333 with 2 walks and an RBI. Bradley went on to sweep Belmont and are 8-1 overall on the year. Rice as a freshman is hitting .360 on the year and is the Braves everyday catcher.

Upp got back on track this past weekend vs. Murray State as he went 5 for 14 at the dish, hitting .357 with 2 walks and a RBI. IPFW however lost 3 of 4 vs. Murray State and are now 3-7 overall.

Huffman got his 1st win of the year vs. Morehead State on Friday night going 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6. ISU took 2 of 3 from Morehead State and Huffman continues to look better as their Friday night starter as the season rolls on.

Forestell collected a hit in every game and 4 walks this past weekend to help the Broncos sweep St. Bonaventure and improve to 5-4 overall.

Johnson went 2 for 3 in the Sunday finale vs. Long Beach State to help the Rebels take 2 of 3 from Long Beach and improve their record to 10-1 overall. Ole Miss is currently ranked #9 in the nation.

Heiss picked up 1st and 2nd wins this past week. Heiss went 3 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4 in his 1st win. Then in his 2nd outing of the week, Heiss went 5 innings giving up 1 earned run on only 1 hit and 3 walks while striking out an astounding 11. John A. Logan picked up 5 wins on the week, two with the help on Heiss and improve to 10-4 overall on the year.

Kelly went 7 for 21, hitting .333 on opening week for Wayne State on their Virgina and Florida trip. Kelly hit 2 homeruns, 2 doubles and collected 5 RBI’s on the week. Wayne State in currently 4-4 overall.

Musielak went 3 innings in relief this past weekend giving up 0 runs on only 1 hit while striking out 2. Concordia-Chicago is currently 3-2 overall.
Nick Menken, Virginia Tech @Nickmenken
Menken went 3 for 10 hitting .300 at the Stetson Tournament this weekend. However Virginia Tech lost to Stetson and Purdue and picked up a win vs. Central Michigan. The Hokies are now 4-7 overall on the year.

Gaines went 7 for 22, hitting .318 this past week collecting a homerun, 3 doubles and 4 RBI’s. John A. Logan is now 10-4 on the year.
Gunnar Haskins, Augustana @GunnarHaskins
Haskins continues his power surge as he blasts another homerun, 2 doubles and tallied 6 more RBI’s. Augustana beat Concordia (MN), Saint Mary’s (MN) and split with Cabrini to bring their record to 6-2 overall.

Creal went 3 for 10 hitting .300 with 4 RBI’s this past week. He continues to be a threat out of the very talented outfield for the Vols.

Carberry only made one appearance this past weekend vs. Evansville, but it was a scoreless inning where he gave up 0 runs on 0 hits. Western Illinois however is still searching for that elusive win as they got swept by Evansville and are 0-9 overall.

Bourbon continues to collect RBI’s and hit long balls. Bourbon collected 2 more hits and 3 more RBI’s this past weekend vs. #23 ranked, Texas, with one of them being a homerun. Northwestern lost 3 of 4 vs. Texas this past weekend but Bourbon is hitting .297 with 4 homeruns on the year for the Wildcats.

Huber collected 5 hits in their play this past week in Florida. Huber hit a homerun, a double and collected 3 RBI’s.

Burch went 6 for 19, hitting .316 with 3 doubles and 9 RBI’s. Burch has helped Wabash Valley win all 6 games this past week and improve them to 13-2 overall.
Kevin Sullivan, Middle Tennessee State
Sullivan went 2 for 7 in his two games he played this past weekend with a double and 4 RBI’s. MTSU beat Tennessee and East Tennessee State and lost to Memphis over the weekend. Middle Tennessee is now 6-5 overall.
