Week #4: Division I College Baseball, Top Tier Alumni Roundup:

Player of the Week:

Cam Minacci, RHP, Wake Forest
Minacci was dominate out of the bullpen again this past week for the Demon Deacons. Minacci made 3 relief appearances this past week throwing a total of 5.2 scoreless innings giving up only 2 hits and 4 walks while striking out 8. Wake Forest beat George Mason and lost to Coastal Carolina in the midweek games and lost 2 of 3 vs. #8 ranked Florida State over the weekend and are 13-3 overall on the year.

Hunter Mink
, USF
Mink has been lights out all year on the mound for the Bulls as he made three relief appearances this past week earning a win and two saves to give him 5 saves on the year. Mink in total threw 4 innings giving up 0 runs off 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 8. South Florida split with Boston College in the midweek games and won 2 of 3 vs. Bradley over the weekend to improve 10-6 overall. 

Danny Doligale, Illinois
Doligale was on fire at the plate this past week, collecting a hit in every game going collectively 7 for 17, hitting .412  with two doubles with 2 RBI's. Illinois lost to Eastern Illinois in the midweek game but took 2 of 3 from Western Kentucky over the weekend to move to 5-8 overall on the year. 

Kevin Davis, USC-Upstate
Davis dominated again on the back end of the bullpen for the Spartans this past week earning a save in his two appearances. Davis threw a total of 2.1 innings giving up 0 runs off 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 4. USC-Upstate beat Citadel in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. Northern Kentucky to improve to 10-5 overall on the year. 

Antonio Brown, Mercer
Brown collected a hit in every game he played in this past week, going 5 for 9, hitting .556 with a double and an RBI. Mercer beat #13 ranked Georgia Tech in the midweek game and swept Saint Peters to improve to 15-1 overall on the year. 

Nick Ficarrotta, Florida
Fircarrotta made two relief appearances this past week earning his 3rd save for the Gators vs. Jacksonville. He threw again vs. Seton Hall as well, in total he threw 5.1 innings this past week giving up only 1 run off 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. The Gators who are the 11th ranked team in the nation beat Jacksonville in the midweek and took 2 of 3 from Seton Hall to improve to 13-4 overall on the year. 

Cam Redding, Saint Louis
Redding continued to swing the bat well as he went 5 for 15, hitting .333 with a double and collecting 2 RBI's. Saint Louis beat Western Illinois in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. IPFW to improve to 7-7 overall on the year. 

Dakota Kotowski, Missouri State
Kotowski collected a hit in every game this past week going 4 for 13, hitting .308 with another homer, a double and collected 2 RBI's. Missouri State lost to #6 ranked Oklahoma State in the midweek game and beat Arkansas State twice this past weekend to improve to 7-7 overall on the year. 

Isaiah Thompson, Indiana State
Thompson got two starts in the outfield this past weekend vs. Wright State where he went 4 for 9, hitting .444 with 2 RBI's. Indiana State however lost 2 of 3 to Wright State and are 7-6 overall on the year. 

Michael Oh, UNC-Charlotte
Oh made two relief appearances this past week throwing a total of 2 innings giving up 1 run off 2 hits and 0 walks while striking out 2. Charlotte beat Longwood in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. Appalachian State over the weekend to improve to 10-5 overall on the year. 

Anthony Mangano, Iowa
Mangano went 3 for 9, hitting .333 this past weekend vs. UC-Irvine with two triples and 2 RBI's. It wasn't enough though as the Hawkeyes lost 2 of 3 to Irvine and fell to 7-7 overall on the year. 

Derek Crum, Wake Forest
Crum made three relief appearances this past week for Wake Forest throwing a total of 3.2 innings giving up 2 runs off 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. Wake Forest lost to Coastal Carolina and beat George Mason in the midweek games and lost 2 of 3 vs. Florida State and are now 13-3 overall on the year. 

Garrett Goetz, Stephen F. Austin
Goetz went 3 for 7, hitting .429 but SF-Austin got swept by Lamar to fall to 4-9 overall on the year. 

Jeremy Gaines, Texas Southern
Gaines went 3 for 5 with a double in two games this past week where Texas Southern won both games vs. Hutson-Tilloston to improve to 8-7 overall on the year. 

Tyler Snep, Iowa
Snep went 3 for 5 in the two games he played in this past weekend vs. UC-Irvine. Iowa lost 2 of 3 and fell to 7-7 overall. 

Chase Stanke, Minnesota
Stanke collected 3 hits this past week with two doubles and 2 RBI's. Minnesota lost to North Dakota State in the midweek game and lost 2 of 3 to Air Force to fall to 5-12 overall. 

Ray Sass, Brown
Sass collected 3 hits this past weekend with a home run and 3 RBI's. Brown got swept by Gardner-Webb and are 2-8 overall on the year. 

Andrew Wilhite, Minnesota
Wilhite collected 3 hits this past week with an RBI, but Minnesota lost 2 of 3 to Air Force over the weekend to fall to 5-12 overall on the year. 

Paul Bergstrom, Creighton
Bergstrom made two relief appearances this past week throwing a total of 2.1 innings giving up 2 runs off 4 hits and 0 walks with one strikeout. Creighton lost to Omaha and beat Central Arkansas and UT-Martin and are 6-6 overall on the year. 

Alex Bryant, Holy Cross
Bryant got his 1st relief appearance of the year going 1 inning giving up 0 runs off 1 hit and 1 walk. Holy Cross lost Radford and beat VMI in the midweek games and lost 2 of 3 vs. Richmond to fall to 3-13 overall on the year. 

Keaton Rice, Bradley
Rice collected 2 hits with two doubles and 3 RBI's this past weekend as the Braves lost 2 of 3 to USF to fall to 4-8 overall on the year. 

Colin Summerhill, Troy
Summerhill collected 2 hits over the weekend with a double and an RBI. Troy beat Jacksonville State and swept Indiana to improve to 11-5 overall on the year. 

Tony Livermore, Northwestern
Livermore went 1 for 1 in his one pinch-hit appearance this past weekend vs. St. Thomas. Northwestern beat St. Thomas twice to improve to 4-10 overall on the year. 

Ryan Thiesse, Fordham
Thiesse went 1 for 1 in his pinch-hit appearance vs Yale. Fordham lost to Yale and LIU this past weekend to fall to 2-11 overall on the year.
