Week 4: MLB Alumni Roundup
Paul DeJong continues to swing a hot stick for the Cardinals and Tanner Roark gets his 1st win on the mound for his new team the Reds. 

Paul DeJong, St. Louis Cardinals
DeJong continued to stay red hot at the plate for the Cards this past week, going 9 for 24, hitting .375 with a homer, two doubles and 3 RBI's. The Cardinals lost 2 of 3 to the Brewers but then bounced back to take 2 of 3 from the Mets to improve to 12-9 overall and are in 2nd place in the NL Central Division. DeJong on the year is hitting .326 with 9 doubles, a triple, 4 homers and 11 RBI's.

Tanner Roark, Cincinnati Reds
Roark picked up his 1st win as a member of the Cincinnati Reds this past week vs. San Diego. Roark hurled 5.1 innings giving up only 1 run off 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 5. Reds however have been struggling and are in last place in the NL Central Division. Roark is 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA in 4 starts and has 20 strikeouts in 20 innings of work. 

MiLB Alumni Roundup

Jeremy Rhoades, Salt Lake Bees, Triple A  (LA Angels Affiliate)
Rhoades had his worst week of the year this past week, making two relief appearances, giving up 7 runs off 7 hits in 2.2 innings of work while striking out 4. 

Zach Lewis, Winston-Salem Dash, High A (Chicago White Sox Affiliate)
Lewis made two starts this past week, going a total of 7.1 innings giving up 8 runs off 10 hits and 4 walks while striking out 4. Lewis got a no-decision and a win in his efforts and is now 2-1 with a 6.61 ERA and 13 strikeouts in 16.1 innings of work.

Will Kincanon, Winston-Salem Dash, High A (Chicago White Sox Affiliate)
Kincanon made two relief appearances this past week, going a total of 4 innings giving up 0 earned runs off 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5. Kincanon is 0-2 as a reliever this year with a 1.35 ERA and has 8 strikeouts in 6.2 innings of work.

Danny Mayer, Clearwater Threshers, Low A (Philadelphia Phillies Affiliate)
Mayer went 3 for 12, hitting .250 this past week with a homer and an RBI.

Sean Hjelle, Augusta GreenJackets, Low A (San Francisco Giants Affiliate)
Hjelle made two starts this past week and got no-decisions for either of them. Hjelle went a total of 10.2 innings for both starts and only gave up 3 runs off 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 10. Hjelle has a 2.75 ERA and has 19 strikeouts in 19.2 innings of work.
