Keaton Rice, Bradley @riceKrispy_
Rice continues to tear it up at the plate as a freshman for the Bradley Braves. Rice collected a hit in every game this past weekend, going 5 for 11, hitting .455 with 4 RBI’s. Bradley lost 2 of 3 vs. Jacksonville this past weekend and slipped to 9-3 overall. Rice is the Braves starting catcher and is 1st on the team on on base % at .522 and 2nd on the team in batting average at .389 on the year.
Cal Coughlin, TCU @Calcogz22TT
Coughlin continues to marvel out of the bullpen for #4 ranked Horned Frogs. Coughlin went 1.2 innings of relief vs. #15 ranked Vanderbilt giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 2. TCU lost to Vanderbilt and beat USC over the weekend on their California trip. TCU is now 9-4 overall and Coughlin is still perfect out of the bullpen giving up 0 runs in 10.2 innings of work this year.
Hank Christie, Northwestern
Christie got his 1st win of the year this past weekend vs. MacMurray College. Christie went 6 innings in his start giving up 0 runs on 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6. Christie moves to 1-2 on the year as a staple in the Wildcats weekend rotation. Northwestern defeated both MacMurray and Judson this past weekend to improve to 5-7 overall.
Trey Schramm, Xavier @tschramm13
Schramm made two appearances this past week out of the bullpen. Both of them were scoreless against California and San Francisco. Schramm went a total of 2 innings between the two games giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 3. On the year, Schramm has a 3.38 ERA and a 2-1 record in his 7 relief appearances.
Michael Sebby, Illinois State @mike_sebby
Sebby came out of the bullpen twice this past weekend vs. Washington. Sebby was dominate in his two appearances going a total of 2.2 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and 2 walks while striking out 5. Sebby helped shut down the Huskies lineup and helped the Redbirds win 2 of 3 on the weekend with the finale coming on Monday.
Quinn Snarskis, Illinois @SnarskiAndHutch
Snarskis picked up his 1st win of the year vs. Michigan State this past weekend on their South Carolina trip. Snarskis went 6 innings in his start giving up 1 earned run on 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 3. On the year since moving from the bullpen to the starting rotation, Snarskis is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA and has been holding opponents to a .230 batting average. Illinois went 1-1 vs. Michigan State and they beat Furman to improve to 8-4 overall.
Sean Hjelle, Kentucky @Hjellebean
Hjelle remains perfect this year as he picked up the win vs. #3 ranked, Texas Tech and improving him to 4-0. Hjelle went 7 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6. Kentucky took 2 of 3 from Texas Tech and improved to 14-3 overall on the year and are ranked #6 in the nation. Hjelle has a 1.35 ERA, has held hitters to .144 batting average and has struck out 24 batters in 26.2 innings of work.
Brett Newberg, Austin Peay @BrettNewb
Newberg got two relief appearances this past week. First one came vs. #8 ranked, Ole Miss where he went 1.1 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit. Second appearance came vs. Jacksonville State, where he went 3 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit while striking out 1 and getting his 1st save of the year. Newberg leads his team with 2.25 ERA on the year and is 2-0 with one save.
Dalton Parker, Purdue @daltontparker
Parker went 2 innings of relief work vs. Tulane this past weekend giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 1. This was Parker’s first really good outing since coming back from injury for the Boilermakers. Purdue lost 2 of 3 vs. Tulane and slipped to 9-4 overall.
Luke Johnson, Bucknell @LukeJohnson_6
Johnson went 4 for 9, hitting .444 this past weekend vs. Villanova with a triple and an RBI. The Bison went 1-1 vs. Villanova over the weekend and are 3-8 overall. Johnson is 3rd on his team in batting average at .318 for his senior campaign.
Louis Niemerg, Maryville @LouisNiemerg
Niemerg went 4 for 7, hitting .571 this past weekend with a triple and 3 RBI’s to help Maryville sweep Bemidji State. Maryville has improved to 7-9 overall.
Matthew Kann, Franklin & Marshall @KattMann3
Kann went 5 for 10, hitting .500 over the weekend with a triple, a double and 3 RBI’s. Franklin & Marshall took a game from York and split with William & Paterson to improve to 2-2-1 overall.
Marius Balandis, Iowa Western CC @Baland1s
Balandis had another strong outing this past weekend, picking up the win vs. Ridgewater CC. Balandis went 4 innings giving up 0 runs on 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 6 and improving him to 2-1 on the year. Iowa Western swept all four games from Ridgewater CC this past weekend and improved to 10-2 overall.
Ryan Dunne, Western Illinois @RyanDunne11
Dunne took the loss vs. Indiana State. However, Dunne gave the Leathernecks a very good outing going 8 innings giving up only 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 2. Dunne moves to 0-4 on the year as a starter but has pitched really well in his last couple outings. Western Illinois is now 0-11 overall on the year.
Justin Kelly, Wayne State
Kelly went 8 for 17, hitting .471 this past week in Florida with a triple, 4 doubles and 5 RBI’s. Wayne State beat #25 Seton Hill, Missouri-St. Louis twice and lost to Slippery Rock this past week to improve to 7-5 overall. Kelly has a .422 batting average and .667 slugging % in 12 games played this year in D2.
David Dobrinich, Western Illinois @DDobrinich30
Dobrinich went 3 for 8, hitting .375 in his two starts this past weekend vs. Indiana State. In seven games played this year Dobrinich is hitting .316.

Trautwein went 1.2 innings of relief work this past weekend vs. Chicago State. Trautwein gave up 0 runs on 0 hits while striking out 1. UIC swept Chicago State over the weekend and improved to 10-4 overall.

Huffman got the Friday night start vs. Washington this past weekend going 5.1 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 6. The Redbirds are up 2-1 in the series, with the finale finishing on Monday. ISU is now 7-5 overall on the year.
Peyton Isaacson, Saint Leo @TheMagnum_PI
Isaacson went 5 for 11, hitting .364 this past week with a homerun, 2 doubles and 6 RBI’s. Isaacson also got his 8th save of the year vs. Tiffin going another scoreless inning with a strikeout. On the year, Isaacson leads his team in almost every category, he is first in batting average at .405, has 12 doubles, 8 homeruns, 28 RBI’s and a slugging % of .892. Isaacson also has 0.00 ERA with 8 saves and has allowed only 2 hits while striking out 10 in his 8 innings of work. Saint Leo is now ranked 17th in the nation in D2 and are 17-2 overall.

Tholl went 5 for 9, hitting .555 in his 1st two games of their Florida trip. Tholl had 2 doubles, a triple and collected 3 RBI’s. Webster beat Rhodes and Ripon to start the trip and are 5-2 overall.

Huber went 3 for 7 in 2 games vs. Rose-Hulman this past weekend. Huber had a double and collected 2 RBI’s. Augustana is now 8-2 overall on the year.
Willie Bourbon, Northwestern @williebourbon
Bourbon continues to get pitched around this past weekend due to the power numbers he has put up in previous weeks. Bourbon went 1-5 for this past weekend with an RBI, but was walked 3 times in 2 games. Bourbon’s slugging % is .714 and his on base % is .380 in 12 games this year.

Rominski went 2 innings of relief work this past weekend vs. UIS giving up 0 runs on 1 hit while striking out 1. Hillsdale however lost 3 of 4 vs. UIS this past weekend and are 3-13 overall.

Giltz went 2 for 6 over the weekend vs. Murray State in his two starts. SIUE lost 2 of 3 vs. their OVC opponent this past weekend. SIUE is now 5-8 overall and 1-2 in the OVC.

Costanzo moved to 3-0 on the year with the win Friday night vs. Jacksonville State. Costanzo went 6 innings giving up 4 runs on 7 hits and 1 walk while striking out 9. On the year, Costanzo is second on the team in ERA at 3.13 and first on the team in strikeouts, having 32 strikeouts in 23 innings pitched. Austin Peay took 2 of 3 from Jacksonville State over the weekend and improve to 10-6 overall and 2-1 in the OVC.

Upp collected a hit in all three games this past weekend vs. Butler with 3 RBI’s. However, IPFW lost 2 of 3 vs. Butler and are now 4-9 overall on the year.

Lambert collected 3 hits this past week with 2 doubles and an RBI. Bowling Green however lost to Evansville in the mid-week and got swept by Western Kentucky over the weekend. Bowling Green is now 3-13 overall, Lambert is hitting .333 which is good enough for 2nd on the team and leads the team in doubles with 6 and stolen bases with 9.

Kruse came out of the bullpen during the week to help preserve a win vs. Ottawa in where he went 2 innings giving up 0 runs on 0 hits while striking out 2. On the weekend, Kruse got the start vs. William & Penn (IA) going 7 innings to pick up the win giving up 2 runs on 6 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. Benedictine beat Ottawa and William & Penn (IA) twice and lost to Clarke twice this past week. The Falcons are now 10-10 overall.

Creal went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI in the only game played vs. Wabash Valley this past weekend due to rain. John A. Logan beat Wabash Valley and improved to 11-4 overall.

Schalasky got the win on Sunday to help UIndy sweep Truman over the weekend. He went 6 innings giving up 3 runs on 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 10. Schalasky is now 3-1 on the year and helped the Greyhounds to improve to 10-2 overall.

McGaha went 5 for 16 this past week, hitting .313 with a homerun, a double and 5 RBI’s. Olney Central CC won all 6 games and improved to 16-2 overall.

Neal got his 1st collegiate hit and start this past weekend vs. Manchester College. Neal pinch hit in game 2, hitting an RBI double. In game 3, he got the start and went 1 for 4. DePauw however lost all three this weekend to Manchester and slipped to 1-5 overall.

DiLuia made his 2nd start of the year in the mid-week game vs. Delaware where he took the loss and moved to 1-1. DiLuia only was able to go 3 innings giving up 3 runs on 5 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. On the year as a freshman, DiLuia has 15 strikeouts against opponents in 12 innings of work, which is the 3rd best on the team.

Sandoval picked up the win vs. Lourdes University in Florida this past weekend going 6 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 7 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. Saint Francis went on to go 2-5 this past week on their Florida trip and are 6-13 overall.
Bobby Seymour, Wake Forest @bobbyseymour127
Seymour went 0 for 2 with 2 walks in the lost to #24 ranked Coastal Carolina in the mid-week game. Seymour got a pinch hit single vs. #3 ranked Florida State as well over the weekend to help the Demon Deacons take 2 of 3 from their ACC opponent. Wake Forest is now 7-9 overall and 2-1 in the ACC.

Rios collected 3 hits this past week on their Florida trip, with 2 homeruns and 4 RBI’s. Lewis went 4-2 in Florida this week and are now 5-7 overall.

Santoro made his 2nd appearance of the year out of the bullpen vs. Rutgers this past weekend. The Switch-pitcher went 1 inning giving up 1 run on 1 hit while striking out 2. Army got swept over the weekend vs. Rutgers and are now 6-7 overall.

Fordon got 2 innings of relief work in vs. MacMurray this past weekend giving up 1 earned run on 4 hits. Northwestern moved to 5-7 overall after picking up 2 wins this past weekend.
