Brandon McPherson, RHP, Northern Illinois
McPherson finally got to extend his start this past weekend vs. Miami (OH) after coming back from injury last season. McPherson was lights out earning the win and throwing a shutout in his 5 innings of work vs. Miami (OH) giving up only 2 hits, no walks and striking out 7. The Huskies lost to Purdue in the midweek game and lost 2 of 3 vs. Miami (OH) this past weekend to fall to 4-15 overall and 1-5 in the MAC.

Brady Miller, RHP, Western Michigan
Miller had his best start of the year this past weekend vs. MAC rival Eastern Michigan. He earned the win tossing 7 scoreless innings giving up only 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 7. The Broncos however lost 2 of 3 vs. Eastern Michigan and are now 5-12 overall and 2-4 in the MAC.
Jack Mahoney, RHP, South Carolina
Mahoney is having an unbelievable season for the 16th ranked Gamecocks. This weekend vs. Georgia he earned another win in his start to move him to 3-0 on the year. Mahoney threw 6 innings in his start giving up only 1 run off 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6. South Carolina beat Presbyterian in the midweek game and swept Georgia over the weekend to improve to 20-1 overall and 3-0 in the SEC.
Andrew Wilhite, OF, Ball State
Wilhite had a break out weekend for the Cardinals as he went 5 for 10, hitting .500 with a homer and 6 RBI's. Ball State swept Toledo and improved to 13-6 overall and 5-1 in the MAC.
Jackson Kent, LHP, Arizona
Kent was marvelous in relief this past weekend vs. 13th ranked UCLA as he tossed 3 scoreless innings giving up 1 hit and 0 walks while striking out 4. Arizona however got swept by UCLA and fall to 12-6 overall and 3-3 in the PAC-12.
Will Parkinson, LHP, Columbia
Parkinson made two relief appearances this past week, earning a win vs. Tulane in one of those appearances. In total, Parkinson threw 4 innings giving up 0 runs off only 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 7. Columbia beat Troy and lost to Samford in the midweek games and lost 2 of 3 to Tulane over the weekend and are 6-9 overall on the year.
Ray Sass, INF, Brown
Sass collected hits all three games this weekend going 5 for 10, hitting .500 with 3 doubles and an RBI. The Bears lost 2 of 3 to Bryant and are 2-11 overall on the year.
Cam Minacci, RHP, Wake Forest
Minacci continues to be a dominate force out of the bullpen for the 4th ranked Demon Deacons. Minacci earned his 5th save of the year this past weekend vs. Notre Dame as he threw 1.1 innings giving up 0 runs off 1 hit while striking out 1. Wake Forest beat Liberty in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. Notre Dame this past weekend to improve to 18-3 overall and 4-2 in the ACC.
Tanner Mink, RHP, South Florida
Mink made two relief appearances this past week for the Bulls. In total he threw 4 scoreless innings giving up only 3 hits and 0 walks while striking out 4 vs. Dartmouth and Army. USF split with Dartmouth in the midweek games and won 2 of 3 vs. Army over the weekend to improve to 8-13 overall on the year.
Ben Rosengard, INF/OF, Rice
Rosengard had a really good offensive weekend for the Owls going 5 for 15, hitting .333 with 2 RBI's. Rice lost to Baylor in the midweek game but swept UAB over the weekend to improve to 11-9 overall and 3-0 in C-USA.
Nick Ficarrotta, RHP, Florida
Ficarrotta made two relief appearances this past week for the 5th ranked Gators. Ficarrotta threw a total of 4.1 innings giving up only 1 run off 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. Florida beat North Florida in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. 24th ranked Alabama over the weekend to improve to 18-4 overall and 2-1 in the SEC.
Paul Bergstrom, LHP, Creighton
Bergstrom made two relief appearances this past week vs. Kansas State and Wichita State. In total he threw 2.2 innings giving up 0 runs off 2 hits and 2 walks while striking out 1. Creighton lost to Kansas State in the midweek game and split with Wichita State over the weekend and are 7-7 overall.
Chase Centala, RHP, UCF
Centala made two relief appearances this past week vs. 21st ranked, Florida State and Dartmouth. In total, he threw 3.2 innings giving up only 1 earned run off 5 hits, 0 walks and 2 strikeouts. UCF beat Florida State twice during the midweek games and swept Dartmouth over the weekend to improve to 15-5 overall.
Chase Stanke, C, Kentucky
Stanke went 2 for 4 with 3 walks this past week as the Wildcats beat Indiana in the midweek game and swept Mississippi State over the weekend to improve to 18-2 overall and 3-0 in the SEC.
Antonio Brown, INF, Mercer
Brown went 2 for 5 this past week, and the Bears beat Georgia State in the midweek game but lost 2 of 3 to Rutgers over the weekend to fall to 14-7 overall.
Hunter Mink, RHP, South Florida
Mink earned a win in his start vs. Army this past weekend. Mink is now 3-2 on the year after tossing 6 strong innings giving up 3 runs off 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 8. USF split with Dartmouth and won 2 of 3 vs. Army and are now 8-13 overall.
Collin Wilma, RHP, SEMO
Wilma made two relief appearances this past week, earning a win vs. Western Illinois in one of them. In total, Wilma tossed 3 innings giving up only 1 earned run off 4 hits with 2 strikeouts. SEMO lost twice to Missouri State in the midweek games but swept Western Illinois over the weekend to improve to 10-12 overall.
Scott Youngbrandt, RHP, Missouri State
Youngbrandt made three relief appearances this past week. He threw twice against 10th ranked East Carolina and once against SEMO. In total, he went 4 innings giving up 3 runs off 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5. Missouri State beat SEMO twice in the midweek games but got swept by East Carolina and are 11-8 overall.
Cade Kurland, INF, Florida
Kurland collected 3 more hits this past week for 5th ranked Florida, and added 2 more homers to his stats and 3 more RBI's. Florida is 18-3 overall and 2-1 in the SEC and Kurland as a true freshman is hitting .405 with 7 homers.
Marc DeGusipe, LHP, Florida Atlantic
DeGusipe made one relief appearance this past week vs. Bradley where he tossed one scoreless inning giving up one hit and striking out one. FAU beat Bradley in the midweek game before getting swept by UTSA over the weekend and falling to 12-9 overall and 0-3 in C-USA.
Mason Miller, LHP, Florida Gulf Coast
Miller earned a no-decision in his start vs. Liberty this past weekend tossing 4 innings giving up only 1 earned run off 4 hits and 4 walks while striking out 5. FGCU took 2 of 3 from Liberty and improved to 16-4 overall and 2-1 in the A-SUN.
Nick Laxner, RHP, Eastern Illinois
Laxner earned his 1st win of the year vs. Arkansas Pine Bluff tossing 5 innings in his start giving up 2 runs on 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5. The Panthers won both games this past weekend and improved to 10-4 overall on the year.
Colin Summerhill, Utility, Northern Illinois
Summerhill went 4 for 15, with a homer and an RBI this past week. NIU earned their first MAC win this past weekend vs. Miami (OH) and are now 4-15 overall and 1-5 in the MAC.
Oliver Barkal, RHP, Niagara
Barkal threw one inning of relief vs. Portland this past week giving up 0 runs off 1 hit while striking out 1. Niagara beat Portland and Oregon in the midweek games and took 2 of 3 from George Washington this weekend to improve to 8-7 overall on the year.
Casey Kmet, 3B/OF, Notre Dame
Kmet went 1 for 3 vs. 4th ranked Wake Forest and Saint Joseph's this past week. Notre Dame won both games vs. Saint Joseph's in the midweek and lost 2 of 3 vs. Wake Forest over the weekend to move to 9-8 overall and 2-4 in the ACC.
Tommy Egan, RHP, Houston
Egan made one relief appearance vs. Minnesota this past weekend tossing one scoreless inning off 1 hit and 2 walks while striking out 1. Houston lost to 15th ranked Texas A&M in the midweek game but swept Minnesota over the weekend to improve to 8-11 overall.
Shane Curtin, LHP, Creighton
Curtin got his 1st collegiate relief appearance vs. Wichita State this past weekend, where he tossed 0.2 innings giving up 2 runs off 1 hit and 1 walk with 1 strikeout. Creighton split with the Shockers and are 7-7 overall on the year.
