Week 8: MLB/MiLB Alumni Roundup:
Jeremy Rhoades looked great in Triple A for the Angels, picking up two saves in two appearances this past week.

MLB Alumni Roundup:
Paul DeJong, St. Louis Cardinals

DeJong went 7 for 26, hitting .269 this past week in 6 games with two doubles, a homer and 7 RBI's. The Cardinals continue to struggle a bit though as they lost 2 out of 3 to both Atlanta and Texas this past week and are now 24-23 overall. DeJong is hitting .320 with 17 doubles, a triple, 8 homers, 26 RBI's and a .562 slugging %.

Tanner Roark, Cincinnati Reds

Roark made two starts on the mound this past week, collecting losses in both games for his efforts. Roark tossed a total of 10 innings between his two starts, giving up 5 runs off 10 hits and 4 walks while striking out 13. Reds are 22-26 overall on the year, and Roark is 3-3 with a  3.51 ERA in 51.1 innings of work.

MiLB Roundup:
Jeremy Rhoades, Salt Lake Bees (Triple A)

Rhoades was lights out in relief this past week, picking up two saves in his two appearances. Rhoades went a total of 3 innings giving up 0 runs off 1 hit and 1 walk while striking out 6. Rhoades now owns a 4.98 ERA with 25 strikeouts in 21.1 innings of work this year. 

Zach Lewis, Winston-Salem Dash (High A)

Lewis made one start and made on relief appearance this past week. Lewis threw a total of 6.1 innings giving up 3 runs off 4 hits and 5 walks while striking out 6. On the year, Lewis has a 6.42 ERA with 36 strikeouts in 33.2 innings of work.

Will Kincanon, Winston-Salem Dash (High A)

Kincanon made three relief appearances this past week. Kincanon went a total of 4 innings giving up 3 runs off 4 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. Kincanon has a 2.65 ERA on the year with 22 strikeouts in 17 innings of work.

Sean Hjelle, Augusta GreenJackets (Low A)

Hjelle had two starts this past week, going a total of 9 innings giving up 2 runs off 10 hits and 2 walks while striking out 8. Hjelle has a 2.66 ERA with 44 strikeouts in 40.2 innings of work in Low A. Hjelle is now been moved up to High A with the San Jose Giants.

Mitch Glasser, Sioux Falls Caranies
Glasser went 7 for 26, hitting .269 in the opening week with two doubles and 4 RBI's. 

Casey Crosby, Chicago Dogs
Crosby has not pitched yet for the Dogs.

Atlantic League
Tyler Ladendorf, High Point Rockers
Ladendorf is now 25 for 86, hitting .291 for the Rockers with 9 doubles, 3 homers, 10 RBI's and a .408 on base %. 

Frontier League
Ryan Koziol, Joliet Slammers
Koziol made three relief appearances this past week, picking up 2 saves. In total, Koziol threw 2.1 innings giving up 0 runs off 4 hits while striking out 2. On the year, Koziol is 1-0 with 3 saves, an ERA of 0.00 and has 5 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work.

Blake Hickman, Windy City Thunderbolts
Hickman made three relief appearances this past week, going a total of 2.2 innings giving up 4 runs off 5 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. Hickman has a 7.71 ERA with 7 strikeouts in 4. 2 innings of work.

Dane Hutcheon, Lake Erie Crushers
Hutcheon went 5 for 26 with RBI this past week. Hutcheon is hitting .162 to start the year.

Jack Landwehr, Schaumburg Boomers
Landwehr made two starts this past week, getting no-decisions in both of them. In total, he threw 12 innings giving up 3 runs off 11 hits and 2 walks while striking out 9. Landwehr is 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA. 

Anthony Ray, Gateway Grizzlies
Ray went 8 for 25 this past week with three doubles and two stolen bases. Ray is hitting .250 on the year with 3 doubles and 3 stolen bases. 

United Shore League
Sam Cottingham-Beard, Utica Unicorns
Cottingham-Beard made two relief appearances this past week going a total of 2 innings giving up 2 runs of 2 hits while striking out 1. Cottingham-Beard has a 9.00 ERA on the year.
