Player of the Week:
Mitch Farris, LHP, Wingate (D2)
Farris for the 4th time this year was named SAC Pitcher of the Week after he threw another gem this past week vs. #7 in the nation, Lenoir-Rhyne. Farris threw a complete game 9 innings earning the win giving up only 1 run off only 3 hits and 2 walks with 13 strikeouts. Wingate lost to 21st ranked UNC-Pembroke in the midweek game but went on to sweep 7th ranked Lenoir-Rhyne to improve to 18-9 overall on the year. Farris is now 7-0 on the year and continues to me the most dominate pitcher in all of D2 baseball. Farris owns a 1.33 ERA on the year with 80 strikeouts and only 9 walks in 47.1 innings of work.

Sam Antonacci, INF, Heartland (JUCO)
Antonacci is absolutely on fire again this season at the plate and his Hawks are one of the hottest JUCO teams out there. Antonacci went 7 for 11, hitting .636 this past week with a homer, 3 doubles and 8 RBI's. The Hawks went a perfect 4-0 and improved to 17-1 overall and are on a 10-game winning streak as team. Antonacci is hitting .569 on the year with 5 homers and 35 RBI's.
Lucas Spence, OF, Blackhawk (JUCO)
Spence had an unbelievable week at the plate as well as he went 8 for 13, hitting .615 with 3 doubles, 2 triples and 6 RBI's. Blackhawk however went 1-3 this past week and fell to 3-9 overall on the year. Spence is hitting .520 on the year.
Nick Giamarusti, OF, John A. Logan (JUCO)
Giamarusti swung a hot stick again this week going 6 for 8 with two doubles, a triple and 4 RBI's. Logan beat Carl Sandburg and Kaskaskia last week and improved to 17-7 overall and Giamarusti is hitting .415 on the year with 3 homers and 24 RBI's.
Andy Booth, LHP, Saint Leo (D2)
Booth earned a win in relief this past week vs. Purdue Northwest where he tossed two scoreless innings off 4 hits and 2 walks with one strikeout. Saint Leo beat Purdue Northwest in the midweek game and swept Embry-Riddle over the weekend to improve to 14-10 overall.
Broghan O'Connor, OF, Wash U (D3)
O'Connor had a great week for the Bears this past week where he went 7 for 22, hitting .318 with 2 homers, 2 doubles and 3 RBI's. Wash U went 2-1 on their Memphis trip of games and won 2 of 3 vs. Gustavus Adolphus over the weekend to improve to 13-4 overall on the year.
Collin Callahan, INF, Carthage (D3)
Callahan had another good week for Carthage to finish up there Arizona trip going 8 for 23, hitting .348 with a double and an RBI. Carthage finished up the Arizona trip going 2-4 and are now 5-8 overall on the year.
Max Oliveira, C, NYU (D3)
Oliveira went 4 for 10, hitting .400 with 3 RBI's as NYU beat Western New England and Purchase and lost to SUNY Brockport this past week to move to 7-5 overall on the year.
Austin Divello, RHP, Coe (D3)
Divello earned two saves this past week throwing a total of 1 inning giving up 0 runs on 0 hits. Coe went 5-1 this past week on their Florida trip as they improved to 8-4 overall.
Eric Lundell, RHP, Concordia St. Paul (D2)
Lundell made three relief appearances this past week. Lundell earned a win in longest relief appearance vs. Minnesota-Duluth going 4 scoreless innings. In total, he threw 6 innings giving up only 2 runs off 4 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5. The Golden Bears split with Minnesota-Duluth and swept Bemidji State to improve to 7-9 overall.
Charlie Marisca, C, Parkland
Marisca went 3 for 6 this past week with a double and an RBI as the Cobras won both of their games and improved to 12-3 overall.
Ethan Bowers, INF, Blackhawk (JUCO)
Bowers went 4 for 9 with a double, a triple and an RBI this past week. Bowers is hitting .321 on the year and Blackhawk is 3-9 overall.
Connor Blake, INF/RHP, IIT (D3)
Blake went 4 for 9 with two doubles this past week. IIT is 5-5 overall on the year.
AJ Casmer, RHP, Lewis (D2)
Casmer made one relief appearance this past weekend tossing 2 scoreless innings vs. UIS giving up only 1 hit and 3 walks while striking out 1. Lewis lost 3 of 4 vs. UIS and slipped to 7-10 overall on the year.
Dylan Whitney, INF, Johns Hopkins (D3)
Whitney went 4 for 12, hitting .333 this past week with two doubles and 4 RBI's as the Blue Jays went 3-1 in Florida this past week. Johns Hopkins is now 12-2 overall on the year.
Michael Gladden, INF/OF, University of Chicago (D3)
Gladden collected 6 hits this past week with a hit in every game along with collecting 2 RBI's as the Maroons went 4-1 to improve to 6-5 overall on the year.
Simon Lane, RHP, Grinnell (D3)
Lane made one relief appearance this past week on their Florida trip tossing 1.1 scoreless innings off 2 hits and 1 walk with 1 strikeout. Grinnell is 0-4 on their Florida trip and 3-5 overall.
Luke Napleton, C/OF, Quincy (D2)
Napleton collected 4 more hits this past week for the Hawks with another homer, a double and 4 RBI's. The Hawks won 3 of 4 vs Missouri S&T and improved to 14-4 overall. Napleton is hitting .338 on the year with 10 homers and 26 RBI's.
Joey Little, OF, Fort Scott (JUCO)
Little went 5 for 15, hitting .333 this past week with a double and 2 RBI's. Fort Scott won 3 of 4 vs. Labette this past week to improve to 15-12 overall. Little is hitting .342 on the year.
Josh Outlaw, OF, Parkland (JUCO)
Outlaw went 3 for 8 this past week with 2 RBI's as the Cobras improved to 12-3 overall.
Kevin Dowling, OF, Saint Xavier (NAIA)
Dowling collected 5 hits this past week with a double and an RBI as the Cougars split with St. Francis and won 2 of 3 vs. Indiana-South Bend to improve to 11-15 overall.
Brad White, OF, South Suburban (JUCO)
White collected 3 more hits this past week with a double and an RBI as South Sub went 2-3 and are now 12-9 overall.
Luke Brabaham, INF, Morton (JUCO)
Brabaham went 1 for 3 with 3 RBI's this past week as the won both games vs. Marian-Ancilla and improved to 7-5 overall.
Nate Maliska, 1B/C, St. Francis (NAIA)
Maliska went 3 for 8 this past week for the Saints as they split with Saint Xavier and are 6-16 overall on the year.
