Luke Napleton
, C, Quincy (D2)
Napleton put up huge power numbers offensively this past weekend that helped him win GLVC Player of the Week. Napleton was a one-man wrecking crew vs. Augustana as he went 8 for 13, hitting .615 on the weekend with 5 homers, a triple and collected 8 RBI's in just three games. Quincy swept Augustana to improve to 11-3 overall on the year. Napleton is hitting .351 on the year with 9 homers, 22 RBI's and a slugging percentage of .921. 



Mitch Farris, LHP, Wingate (D2)
Farris for the 3rd time this year was named SAC Pitcher of the Week after he threw his best game of his career vs. Lincoln Memorial. Farris piled up a career-high 18 strikeouts allowing just one run on three hits over 8 innings. The 18 strikeouts in a game is an all-time SAC record. Farris is having an unbelievable season on the mound as he is 6-0 for the Bulldogs with a 1.41 ERA and 67 strikeouts against just seven walks in 38.1 innings of work. Farris leads the SAC in ERA, strikeouts and wins, while leading the nation in strikeouts and wins in NCAA Division 2 right now. He also went 4 for 9 with 2 homers and 3 RBI's over the weekend, as Wingate took 2 of 3 from Lincoln Memorial and are 15-8 overall on the year.

Sam Antonacci
, INF, Heartland (JUCO)
Antonacci continues to be one of the hottest hitters in all of Junior College baseball as he went 9 for 12 this past weekend, hitting .750 with a homer, triple, double and collected 3 RBI's. The Hawks are 13-1 overall on the year and Antonacci is hitting .613 with 2 homers and 16 RBI's. 


Collin Callahan, INF, Carthage (D3)
Callahan collected hits in every game he played this past week in their Arizona trip, going 6 for 11, hitting .545 with two doubles, a triple and 3 RBI's. Carthage is 1-2 on the Arizona trip so far and 3-4 overall on the year. 


Nate Maliska, 1B, St. Francis (NAIA)
Maliska was on fire at the plate for the Saints this past week as he went 8 for 16, hitting .500 with a double and 2 RBI's. The Saints however lost all four games but were all against Top 25 ranked teams this past week. St. Francis is now 5-15 overall on the year. 


Logan Peterson, RHP, UIndy (D2)
Peterson threw a gem for the undefeated Greyhounds this past weekend vs. Davenport. Peterson went 7 innings giving up only 1 run on 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 4. UIndy swept Davenport over the weekend and took two in the midweek games vs. Purdue Northwest to improve to a perfect 11-0 overall on the season. 


Brandon Bennitt, INF, IIT (D3)
Bennitt had a really good week at the plate on their Florida trip where he went 7 for 17, hitting .412 with two doubles, a triple and 3 RBI's. IIT won 2 of 3 vs. NYU and beat Vassar on their Florida trip this past week. IIT is 5-3 overall on the year. 


Kevin Dowling, OF, St. Xavier (NAIA)
Dowling had another really good offensive weekend going 6 for 12, hitting .500 with a double, an RBI and 3 stolen bases. St. Xavier however lost 2 of 3 to the College of the Ozarks and are 8-13 overall on the year. 


Nick Giamarusti, OF, John A. Logan (JUCO)
Giamarusti went 4 for 10, hitting .400 this past weekend with a double and 4 RBI's. The Vols are currently 16-7 overall on the year. 


Chris Seropian, LHP, Lake Land (JUCO)
Seropian earned the win on the mound this past weekend as he tossed 5 innings giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 2. Lake Land is 10-9 overall on the year. 


Brennan Fisher, 1B, Benedictine (D3)
Fisher went 6 for 14, hitting .429 with a triple this past week to start their Florida trip out 3-0. Benedictine is 7-2 overall on the year. 


Tommy Shaw, INF, Millikin (D3)
Shaw went 4 for 10, hitting .400 with two doubles and 3 RBI's this past weekend as they beat Hope and split with Hanover to move to 10-5 overall on the year. 


Vytas Valincius, INF/OF, John A. Logan (JUCO)
Valincius went 4 for 12, hitting .333 this past weekend with a homer, a double and 5 RBI's. The Vols are 16-7 overall on the season. 


Cherokee LeBeau, INF, Lewis (D2)
LeBeau went 4 for 7, hitting .571 this past weekend with 3 RBI's. Lewis beat Ashland and lost to Winona State and Minnesota Crookston to fall to 6-7 overall. 


Austin Divello, RHP, Coe (D3)
Divello threw 2 scoreless innings in relief vs. Marymount this past weekend giving up 2 hits and a walk while striking out 1. Coe split with Marymount and are 3-3 overall on the year.


JJ Vargas, INF, Upper Iowa (D2)
Vargas collected 4 hits this past weekend with a homer, a double and 2 RBI's. Upper Iowa lost twice to William Jewell and split with Truman State to fall to 3-7 overall on the year. 


Connor Blake, INF, IIT (D3)
Blake went 6 for 19, hitting .316 with a double and 3 RBI's. IIT is 5-3 overall on the year. 


Brad White, OF, South Suburban (JUCO)
White went 4 for 13, hitting .307 this past weekend with a double and 3 RBI's. South Sub is 11-8 overall on the year and White is hitting .419 on the year. 


Charlie Marisca, C, Parkland
Marisca went 2 for 5 with a triple and 2 RBI's this past weekend for Parkland. The Cobras are 11-3 overall on the year. 


Nick Baldassano, INF, Aurora (D3)
Baldassano went 2 for 4 this past weekend for Aurora as they went 3-2 and are now 7-2 overall. 


Broghan O'Connor, OF, Wash U (D3)
O'Connor collected 2 hits this past weekend with a double, a triple and 4 RBI's as Wash U swept Luther College to improve to 9-2 overall on the year. 


Caleb Anderson, 1B, Concordia-Chicago (D3)
Anderson went 2 for 4 with an RBI this past week on their Florida trip. The Cougars went 2-3 to finish off their trip and are 6-4 overall on the year. 


James Ensign, OF, Gordon (D3)
Ensign collected 2 hits this past week on their Florida trip with a double and an RBI. Gordon went 1-5 on their trip and are 2-8 overall to start the year. 


Jack McNamara, C, UW-Oshkosh (D3)
McNamara collected 2 hits this past weekend with a double as the Titans split with Transylvania and beat Webster and DePauw to improve to 6-2 overall on the year. 


Tyler Preissing, RHP, Aurora (D3)
Preissing made two relief appearances this past weekend, throwing a total of 1.2 innings giving up 1 run off 2 hits and 0 walks while striking out 3. Aurora is 7-2 overall on the year. 


Luke Brabham, INF, Morton (JUCO)
Brabham went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's in Morton's only game this past week as they beat Kishwaukee and improved to 5-5 overall on the year.
