Player of the Week:
Charlie Breen, OF, UW-Platteville
Breen couldn't have asked for a better college debut as a freshman as he went a perfect 3 for 3 vs. Cornell College with 2 homers, a triple and collected 4 RBI's on opening day. Breen finished the weekend off with another homer and 2 more RBI's. All in all, Breen finished the weekend hitting .400 with 3 bombs, a triple and collected 6 RBI's in his college debut as a freshman and earned WIAC Athlete of the Week honors. UW-Platteville however lost to all three games to Cornell, Luther and Augustana and are 0-3 overall on the year.

Mitch Farris, LHP/OF, Wingate (D2)
Farris continues to be dominate on the mound for the Bulldogs as he picked up his 5th win of the season vs. Emory & Henry this past weekend which earned him SAC Pitcher of the Week. Farris went 7 innings giving up only 1 run off 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 10. Farris also went 3 for 7 on the weekend hitting with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's. Wingate who is 14th in the nation in D2 lost 2 of 3 to fall back to 12-6 overall. Farris is a perfect 5-0 on the year on the mound for the Bulldogs.
Brock Bevil, RHP, Benedictine (D3)
Bevil threw really well in relief this past weekend vs. UW-Oshkosh where he went 4 scoreless innings giving up only 2 hits and striking out 3. Benedictine beat North Park and UW-Oshkosh and lost to Webster and are 4-2 overall on the year.
Eric Lundell, RHP, Concordia St. Paul (D2)
Lundell made two great relief appearances this past weekend and picked up a win in one of them. In total, Lundell went 4.1 scoreless innings giving up only 3 hits and 3 walks while striking out 5. The Bears are 3-5 overall on the year.
Lucas Spence, OF/LHP, Blackhawk CC (JUCO)
Spence picked up right where he left off last season, tearing the cover off baseballs, as he went 6 for 12, hitting .500 on opening weekend with a RBI and 4 stolen bases. Blackhawk however lost 3 of 4 to Lake Land and are 1-3 to start the year.
Vito Valincius, INF/OF, John A. Logan CC (JUCO)
Valincius was on fire at the plate this past weekend for the Vols as he went 5 for 8, hitting .625 with two doubles and 5 RBI's. The Vols are now 12-7 overall on the year.
Sam Antonacci, INF, Heartland (JUCO)
Antonacci continues to just hit as he went 5 for 10, hitting .500 this past weekend with a double and 2 RBI's. Heartland is 6-1 overall on the year.
Brad White, OF, South Suburban CC (JUCO)
White had a great weekend offensively for the Bulldogs where he went 3 for 9, hitting .333 with a homer and 5 RBI's. The Bulldogs are 7-5 overall on the year.
Brennan Fisher, INF, Benedictine (D3)
Fisher collected hits in all three games this past weekend, going 5 for 13, hitting .385 with a double and an RBI. Benedictine is 4-2 overall on the year.
Brandon Bennitt, INF, IIT (D3)
Bennitt collected a hit in every game on opening weekend for IIT, going 5 for 14, hitting .357 with an RBI. IIT split with Earlham on opening weekend and are 2-2 overall on the year.
Cherokee LeBeau, INF, Lewis (D2)
LeBeau collected hits in all his games he played in this past week, going 7 for 12, hitting .583 with a double and 5 RBI's. Lewis is 5-5 overall on the year.
Collin Callahan, INF, Carthage (D3)
Callahan went 6 for 16, hitting .375 on opening weekend for Carthage with 6 RBI's. Carthage is 2-2 overall to start the year.
Chris Seropian, LHP, Lake Land CC (JUCO)
Seropian threw 4 innings vs. Blackhawk this past weekend where he only gave up 1 earned run off 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 5. Lake Land took 3 of 4 from Blackhawk and are 7-9 overall on the year.
Caleb Anderson, INF, Concordia-Chicago (D3)
Anderson went 4 for 7, hitting .571 this past weekend with a double and 2 RBI's as the Cougars move to 5-2 overall on the year.
Ethan Bowers, INF, Blackhawk (JUCO)
Bowers had a great first weekend offensively as he went 4 for 12, hitting .333 with a double, a triple, 2 RBI's and had 6 stolen bases. Blackhawk however lost 3 of 4 to Lake Land and are 1-3 overall to start the year.
Nick Giamarusti, John A. Logan CC (JUCO)
Giamarusti had another good weekend at the plate for the Vols as he went 4 for 9, hitting .444 with two doubles. The Vols are 12-7 overall on the year.
Jaden Coleman, OF/LHP, Carl Sandburg CC (JUCO)
Coleman was 2 for 3 in his collegiate debut with two doubles and two stolen bases vs. Kankakee this past weekend.
Ryan Skiba, OF, Joliet (JUCO)
Skiba went 3 for 9, hitting .333 with two doubles this past weekend for the Wolves. JJC is 7-1 overall on the year.
Ryan Manikowski, RHP, Lewis (D2)
Manikowski picked up his first win in relief this year vs. St. Francis tossing 2 innings giving up only 1 run off 0 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. Lewis is 5-5 overall on the year.
Luke Napleton, C/OF, Quincy (D2)
Napleton collected 4 hits this past weekend with a homer and 3 RBI's as they swept Northwood and improved to 8-3 overall on the year.
Brian Rapanan, RHP, MIT (D3)
Rapanan got a start vs. UMass-Boston this past weekend and earned a no-decision after going 6 solid innings giving up only 2 runs off 6 hits and 1 walk while striking out 6. MIT is 1-3 overall to start the year.
Connor Blake, INF/RHP, IIT (D3)
Blake went 2 for 5 with a double this past weekend for IIT. They are 2-2 overall to start the year.
Colin Husko, INF, Dubuque (D3)
Husko collected 4 hits this past weekend with a double as they improved to 8-1 overall on the year.

Fox picked up his 1st collegiate win vs. Amarillo College tossing 5 innings giving up 3 earned off 0 hits and 1 walk while striking out 7. Morton is 4-5 overall on the year.
Sam Ruchala, INF/OF, Spoon River CC (JUCO)
Ruchala collected 3 hits this past weekend vs. Highland. Spoon River lost 3 of 4 and fell to 7-7 overall on the year.

Booth picked a win in relief this past weekend for the Lions vs Florida Tech as he tossed 2.2 innings giving up 2 runs off 4 hits and 0 walks while striking out 1. Saint Leo lost 2 of 3 vs. Florida Tech and are 6-9 overall on the year.
