Weekly Top Tier Alumni Roundup for our NCAA Division II, III, NAIA & JUCO Players:


Player of the Week:

Andy Booth, LHP, Saint Leo (D2)

Booth made two appearances this past week, making one start and one relief stint. He tossed gems in both of his games, where in total he threw 5.2 innings giving up 0 runs off only 2 hits and 1 walk while striking out 8. Saint Leo beat Minnesota-Crookston twice in the midweek games and swept Barry over the weekend making them 17-7 overall. 

Best of the Rest Highlights for our Division II, III, NAIA & JUCO players:

Connor Blake, IIT (D3)

Blake was on a tear at the plate this past week as he went 8 for 14, hitting .571 with 3 homers, two doubles and collected 5 RBI's as IIT beat Eureka and Elmhurst twice and are 3-4 overall on the year. 

Luke Napleton, Quincy (D2)

Napleton continues to swing a hot stick as he collected a hit in every game this past weekend going 5 for 11, hitting .455 with another homer, a double and collected 3 RBI's as the Hawks took 2 of 3 from Maryville. Quincy is now 8-6 overall on the year. 

Tom Egan, Iowa Western (JUCO)

Egan threw a gem in his start vs. Muskegon this past weekend where he earned a no-decision but was electric going 4 scoreless innings giving up 0 hits and only 1 walk while striking out 9. Iowa Western swept Muskegon over the weekend to improve to 11-4 overall. 

Sam Antonacci, Heartland (JUCO)

Antonacci had another great weekend at the plate going 7 for 9 in two games with a homer, 3 doubles. Heartland split with Century and are 7-5 overall on the year. 

Tommy Shaw, Millikin (D3)

Shaw went 4 for 8 with three doubles and an RBI as they split with Dubuque this past weekend to improve to 11-4 overall on the year. 

Nick Baldassano, Aurora (D3)

Baldassano went 5 for 12, hitting .417 with a double and 6 RBI's over the week. In the Tucson Invitational in Arizona they went 3-1 this past week to improve them to 5-3 overall. 

Armen Torosian, UIndy (D2)

Torosian went 3 for 6 this past weekend with a double, an RBI, and 3 walks as UIndy split with Lake Erie and moved to 5-5 overall. 

Jake Lotz, Lewis (D2)

Lotz made one relief appearance this past week going 2 scoreless innings vs. Saginaw Valley giving up 0 hits and 4 walks while striking out 3. Lewis finished Russ Matt 0-3-1 this past week and are 2-8-1 overall. 

Austin Divello, Coe (D3)

Divello made one relief appearance this past week going 2 scoreless innings giving up only 1 hit and 1 walk vs. SUNY-Poly. Coe beat SUNY-Poly but lost to Keystone twice to fall to 3-4 overall on the year. 

Robert Chayka, Kentucky Wesleyan (D2)

Chayka collected 4 hits this past week with a homer, a double and collected 6 RBI's. Kentucky Wesleyan lost 3 of 4 to #7 ranked Trevecca Nazarene and are 1-15 overall on the year. 

Nick Talarico, Case Western (D3)

Talarico collected 5 hits this past week with a homer and 3 RBI's as Case Western lost 3 of 4 to Cortland and fell to 4-8 overall on the year. 

Lucas Spence, Blackhawk (JUCO)

Spence went 2 for 6 this past weekend with a homer and 4 RBI's as Blackhawk split with John Wood to move to 2-4 overall on the year. 

Brandon Bennitt, IIT (D3)

Bennitt collected 4 hits this past weekend with 2 homers, a double and 5 RBI's as IIT beat Eureka and Elmhust twice. 

Michael Carey, Missouri Valley (NAIA)

Carey collected 3 hits this past weekend with an RBI as Missouri Valley moved to 8-11 overall on the year.
