Player of the Week:


Sam Antonacci, INF, Heartland (JUCO)
Antonacci continues his dominance at the plate in the JUCO world as he went 14 for 22, hitting .636 with 3 homers, 3 doubles and collected 13 RBI's this past week for the Hawks. Heartland went 5-1 this past week and are now 50-5 overall on the year and are ranked 2nd in the nation. Antonacci is hitting .539 on the year with 31 doubles, 13 homers, 96 RBI's and 32 stolen bases.

Angelo Luna, OF, Parkland (JUCO)
Luna went 8 for 17, hitting .470 this past week with a homer, a double and 9 RBI's. Parkland went 5-1 this past week and improved to 41-11 overall on the year. 


Vito Valincius, INF/OF, John A. Logan (JUCO)
Valincius went 4 for 9, hitting .444 this past week with a homer, a double and 2 RBI's. The Vols swept Lake Land and finished the regular season 39-14 overall. Valincius finished the year hitting .407 with 14 doubles, 9 homers and 55 RBI's. 


Lucas Spence, OF, Blackhawk (JUCO)
Spence went 13 for 25, hitting .520 with two doubles, a triple and 8 RBI's this past week. Blackhawk went 5-3 this past week and improved to 33-21 overall on the year. 


Tommy Shaw, INF, Millikin (D3)
Shaw went 7 for 11, hitting .636 this past week with 3 doubles and 8 RBI's. Millikin beat North Park twice and lost to Illinois Wesleyan to finish the regular season 26-15 overall. Millikin enters the CCIW tournament this week. Shaw finished the regular season hitting .320 with 11 doubles, a homer, 39 RBI's and 19 stolen bases. 


Colin Husko, INF, Dubuque (D3)
Husko went 6 for 12, hitting .500 with a double and 2 RBI's. Dubuque beat North Park and took 2 of 3 from Simpson to finish the regular season 26-12 overall. Dubuque start the ARC tournament this week. Husko led the team as a freshman hitting .431 on the year with 8 doubles, 2 homers, 22 RBI's and 13 stolen bases. 


Charlie Breen, OF, UW-Platteville (D3)
Breen went 5 for 12, hitting .417 this past week with a homer, a triple, two doubles and 4 RBI's. UW-Platteville got swept by UW-Whitewater to finish the year 10-25 overall. 


Kevin Dowling, OF, Saint Xavier (NAIA)
Dowling went 13 for 32, hitting .406 this past week with two doubles, a triple and 3 RBI's. The Cougars went 6-1 this past week and won the CCAC tournament to earn and automatic bid into the NAIA Championships. Saint Xavier is 31-25 overall and Dowling led the team hitting .357 on the year with 14 doubles, 3 triples, a homer, 28 RBI's and 14 stolen bases. 


Nate Maliska, 1B, Saint Francis (NAIA)
Maliska went 6 for 11, hitting .545 this past week in the CCAC Tournament. The Saints beat Calumet but lost to IU-South Bend and St. Ambrose to finish the year 25-26 overall. Maliska finished the year hitting .333 with 4 doubles and 14 RBI's as a freshman.


Hunter Keim, RHP, Saint Ambrose (NAIA)
Keim made two relief appearances in the CCAC tournament earning the save in one of them. In total, he threw 4.2 innings giving up 0 earned runs off 1 hit while striking out 4. St. Ambrose went 2-2 in the CCAC tournament and finished the year 25-25-1 overall. Keim finished the year 6-1 with 3 saves, an ERA of 1.76 in 30.2 innings pitched with 31 strikeouts and only 5 walks. 


Brandon Bennitt, INF, IIT (D3)
Bennitt went 11 for 29, hitting .379 with 2 homers, 2 doubles and 6 RBI's this past week. IIT went 4-2 this past week and improved to 21-19 overall on the year. Bennitt is hitting .363 on the year with 15 doubles, 9 homers and 32 RBI's. 


Joe Williams, 1B, Knox (D3)
Williams went 4 for 11, hitting .363 this past week with a homer and 6 RBI's. Knox got swept by Grinnell and finished the year 7-32 overall. 


Nick Talarico, INF, Case Western (D3)
Talarico went 3 for 8 this past weekend, hitting .375 with two doubles and 3 RBI's. The Spartans beat DePauw and lost to Penn State-Behrend to finish the year 27-13 overall. 


Jorge Vazquez, INF, Triton (JUCO)
Vazquez went 4 for 13, hitting .307 with a double and 3 RBI's this past week. Triton won all 6 games this past week and improved to 36-18 overall. 


Ethan Bowers, INF, Blackhawk (JUCO)
Bowers collected 8 hits this past week with 2 homers and 8 RBI's as Blackhawk went 5-3 and improved to 33-21 overall. 


Luke Brabham, INF, Morton (JUCO)
Brabham went 11 for 34, hitting .324 this past week with a double and 5 RBI's. Morton went 2-7 this past week and fell to 33-22 overall. 


Brad White, OF, South Suburban (JUCO)
White collected 7 hits this past week with 2 doubles, 2 triples and 6 RBI's. The Bulldogs went 5-2 this past week. White is hitting .378 on the year with 13 doubles, 6 triples, 4 homers, 43 RBI's and 52 stolen bases. 


Jeremy Fox, RHP, Morton (JUCO)
Fox made two starts this past week, earning a win in one and lost in the other. In total he threw 13 innings giving up 4 earned runs off 11 hits and 5 walks while striking out 16. Morton went 2-7 this past week and are 33-22 overall on the year. 


Logan Peterson, RHP, UIndy (D2)
Peterson earned the win in his start this past week vs. Lewis tossing 5.1 innings giving up 2 earned runs off 5 hits and 1 walk while striking out 5. UIndy won 3 of 4 vs. Lewis to finish the regular season 32-17 overall. They will start the GLVC tournament this week. Peterson finished the year 5-3 with a 4.13 ERA in 65.1 innings pitched with 68 strikeouts. 


Josh Outlaw, OF, Parkland (JUCO)
Outlaw went 2 for 4 this past week in his one start and Parkland improved to 41-11 overall.


Collin Callahan, INF, Carthage (D3)
Callahan collected 5 hits this past week a homer and 6 RBI's. Carthage went 2-3 to finish off the year and end 10-28 overall. Callahan led the team hitting .361 with 9 doubles, 3 homers and 25 RBI's. 


Charlie Marisca, C, Parkland (JUCO)
Marisca went 2 for 6 with 2 RBI's this past week for Parkland as they improved to 41-11 overall. 


Tyler Preissing, RHP, Aurora (D3)
Preissing made three relief appearances this past week, tossing a total of 3.1 innings giving up 1 run off 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 1. Aurora went 6-0 this past week and improved to 35-3 overall on the year. 


Brennan Fisher, 1B, Benedictine (D3)
Fisher collected 6 hits this past week with a double and 4 RBI's. The Eagles beat Rockford twice and split with both Dominican and Concordia-Wisconsin to finish the year 28-12 overall. Fisher finished the regular season hitting .298 with 7 doubles, 5 homers and 31 RBI's. Benedictine starts the NACC tournament this week. 


Will Jackson, RHP, Illinois Wesleyan (D3)
Jackson made one relief appearance tossing 2 innings giving up 0 runs off 1 hit while striking out 3 this past week. Illinois Wesleyan beat Blackburn and Millikin and split with North Central to finish the regular season 18-22 overall. 


Tyler Patton, C, Aurora (D3)
Patton collected 4 hits this past week with a homer, two doubles and 6 RBI's. Aurora went 6-0 this past week and finished the regular season 35-3 overall.


Jack McNamara, C, UW-Oshkosh (D3)
McNamara went 1 for 3 with a double in his one start behind the dish this past week. UW-Oshkosh got swept by UW-Stevens Point to finish the year 24-13 overall. UW-Oshkosh begins the WIAC tournament this week. 


AJ Casmer, RHP, Lewis (D2)
Casmer made one relief appearance going 0.2 innings giving up 0 runs with 1 strikeout vs. UIndy. Lewis lost 3 of 4 and fell to 29-21 overall. Lewis starts the GLVC tournament this week. 


Dylan Whitney, INF, Johns Hopkins (D3)
Whitney collected 2 hits and RBI in the Centennial Conference Tournament this past week. Johns Hopkins went on to win the tournament an earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Division 3 Regionals. Johns Hopkins is the #1 ranked team in Division 3. Whitney finished the year off hitting .246 with 7 doubles, a homer and 26 RBI's. 


Ryan Manikowski, RHP, Lewis (D2)
Manikowski made one relief appearance this past week vs. UIndy going 1.2 innings giving up 0 runs off 1 hit and 2 walks while striking out 1. Lewis lost 3 of 4 and fell to 29-21 overall.


Luke Napleton, C, Quincy (D2)
Napleton only had one hit this past week for the Hawks which was a double and collected 3 RBI's. Quincy swept Rockhurst to finish the regular season off 40-9 overall and ranked 7th in the nation at Division 2. Napleton won GLVC Player of the Year after he finished hitting .370 on the year with 16 doubles, 26 home runs and 80 RBI's. The GLVC tournament starts this week.
