Player of the Week:


Luke Napleton, C, Quincy (D2)
Napleton continues to be one of the best power hitters in all of Division 2 college baseball. This week he weekend he went 7 for 16, hitting .438 with 3 more homers and 7 RBI's as Quincy swept Truman State. Quincy on the year is ranked 8th in the nation and are 18-4 overall and 7-1 in the GLVC. Napleton is leading the team with 13 homers on the year and 33 RBI's.

Sam Antonacci,
INF, Heartland (JUCO)
Antonacci continues to stay on fire at the plate for the Hawks, as he went 9 for 17, hitting .529 with 2 homers, 2 doubles and 10 RBI's this past week. The Hawks swept Lewis & Clark and beat CLC this past week to improve to 19-1 overall and are ranked 2nd in the nation. 


Nick Giamarusti, OF, John A. Logan (JUCO)
Giamarusti is having a very impressive season as he continues to hit week in and week out for the Vols. He went 9 for 21, hitting .429 with 3 homers, a double and 6 RBI's this past week. The Vols however lost twice to Kaskaskia in the midweek games and lost 2 of 3 to Wabash Valley over the weekend to fall to 19-11 overall. 


Eric Lundell, RHP, Concordia St. Paul (D2)
Lundell had a really good week on the mound for the Golden Bears. Lundell made 3 relief appearances earning a save in one. In total, he threw 6 innings giving up 0 runs off 3 hits and 0 walks while striking out 6. The Golden Bears beat University of Mary twice in the midweek games and got swept by Minnesota Crookston to move to 9-12 overall. 


Mitch Farris, LHP, Wingate (D2)
Farris continues his dominance on the mound as he once again put another great start together for the Bulldogs. Farris went 7 scoreless innings vs. Catawba giving up only 4 hits and 2 walks while striking out 9. Wingate lost to Lander in the midweek game and won 2 of 3 vs. Catawba over the weekend to move to 20-11 overall. 


Joey Little, OF, Fort Scott (JUCO)
Little went 8 for 13, hitting .615 with a double and an RBI as Fort Scott swept Colby to improve to 18-13 overall on the year. 


Brandon Bennitt, INF, IIT (D3)
Bennitt went 7 for 13, hitting .538 this past week with a homer, a double and 4 RBI's as IIT split with Kenyon and are 7-8 overall on the year. 


Colin Husko, University of Dubuque (D3)
Husko had another great week at the plate going 9 for 19, hitting .474 with a homer,  a double and 5 RBI's. Dubuque beat Marian twice and lost to Buena Vista twice to move to 10-3 overall on the year. 


Tommy Shaw, INF, Millikin (D3)
Shaw collected hits in all the games he played this past week, going 6 for 15, hitting .400 with a homer, a double and 8 RBI's. Millikin is 13-5 overall on the year. 


Dylan Whitney, INF, Johns Hopkins (D3)
Whitney had a great week for the Blue Jays where he went 7 for 18, hitting .389 with 2 doubles and 8 RBI's as won their last 5 games of their Florida trip this past week. Johns Hopkins improved to 17-2 overall and are ranked 9th in the nation in D3 college baseball. 


Andy Booth, LHP, Saint Leo (D2)
Booth made one relief appearance this past week vs. Florida Southern tossing 2.1 innings giving up 0 runs off only 1 hit while striking out 1. St. Leo lost 2 of 3 to Florida Southern and are 15-12 overall on the year. 


Connor Blake, INF, IIT (D3)
Blake went 5 for 12, hitting .417 this past week with a homer, 2 doubles and 4 RBI's. IIT split with Kenyon and is 7-8 overall. 


Lucas Spence, OF, Blackhawk (JUCO)
Spence went 6 for 14, hitting .429 this past week with a double. Blackhawk split with Milwaukee Tech and beat Waubonsee twice to improve to 5-9 overall on the year. 


Noah Jouras, C, Triton (JUCO)
Jouras went 5 for 14, hitting .357 with a triple, a double and 3 RBI's. Triton beat Prairie State twice along with beating Olive Harvey, McHenry and South Suburban to improve to 12-12 overall on the year. 


Jeremy Fox, RHP, Morton (JUCO)
Fox earned a win in his start this past week vs. Saux Valley where he tossed 6 innings giving up only 1 earned run off 8 hits and 2 walks while striking out 10. Morton beat Saux Valley twice and lost to Madison twice to move to 9-6 overall on the year. 


Broghan O'Connor, OF, Wash U (D3)
O'Connor went 4 for 12, hitting .333 with 2 RBI's as Wash U split with Case Reserve Western to move to 15-6 overall on the year. 


Sava Dupor, RHP, Wisconsin-Whitewater (D3)
Dupor earned a win vs. Grinnell this past week tossing 4 innings giving up only 1 run off 2 hits while striking out 8. Whitewater finished up their Florida trip going 2-2 this past week and are now 9-2 overall on the year. 


Jorge Vazquez, RHP, Triton (JUCO)
Vazquez earned a win on the mound for the Trojans tossing 5 scoreless innings vs. Prairie State off only 2 hits while striking out 4. Triton won all 5 games this past week and improved to 12-12 overall on the year. 


Luke Brabaham, INF, Morton (JUCO)
Brabham went 5 for 14, hitting .357 this past week with a double and an RBI as Morton improved to 9-6 overall.


Chris Seropian, LHP, Lake Land (JUCO)
Seropian threw 4 innings this past weekend vs. Olney Central where he gave 1 earned run off 2 hits and 3 walks while striking out 3. Lake Land lost 2 of 3 vs. Olney Central and are 12-13 overall. 


Josh Outlaw, OF, Parkland (JUCO)
Outlaw went 3 for 6 this past week with 2 RBI's. Parkland won all 4 games vs. Spoon River and improved to 19-6 overall. 


Charlie Marisca, C, Parkland (JUCO)
Marisca went 4 for 9 with a homer, a double and an RBI as Parkland improved to 19-6 overall. 


Jack Flagg, RHP, Illinois Wesleyan (D3)
Flagg made one relief appearance throwing 1.2 scoreless innings giving up only 1 hit and 1 walk. Illinois Wesleyan got swept by Wabash and fell to 4-11 overall on the year. 


JJ Vargas, INF, Upper Iowa (D2)
Vargas collected 4 hits this past week with 2 homers, 2 doubles and 6 RBI's. Upper Iowa won all 4 games this past week to improve to 9-9 overall on the year. 


Kevin Dowling, OF, Saint Xavier (NAIA)
Dowling collected 4 hits this past week with 2 RBI's as the Cougars split with St. Ambrose and beat IU-South Bend twice to improve to 12-16 overall on the year. 

Hunter Keim, RHP, St. Ambrose (NAIA)
Keim made three relief appearances this past week earning a win and a loss in his efforts. In total, Keim threw 5 innings giving up only 1 run off 3 hits and 1 walk while striking out 1. St. Ambrose split with St. Francis, St. Xavier and Olivet Nazarene to move to 9-18 overall on the year. 


Mike Pawyza, INF, St. Ambrose (NAIA)
Pawyza collected 5 hits this past week with 2 doubles and an RBI as St. Ambrose went 3-3 last week and are now 9-18 overall. 


PJ Stoyan, LHP, Prasco-Hernando State (JUCO)
Stoyan threw one inning of relief this past weekend vs. Kishwaukee where gave up 0 runs off 0 hits and had 2 strikeouts. They beat Kishwaukee and swept St. John's River State to improve to 28-7 on the year. 


Vytas Valincius, INF/OF, John A. Logan (JUCO)
Valincius collected 4 hits this past week with a homer, a double and 3 RBI's. The Vols struggled a bit and fell to 19-11 overall on the year. 


Sebastian Gutierrez, RHP, Parkland (JUCO)
Gutierrez threw 1.2 innings of relief this past week giving up 0 runs off 0 hits and 3 walks with 4 strikeouts. Parkland swept Spoon River and improved to 19-6 overall. 


Michael Gladden, INF/OF, University of Chicago (D3)
Gladden went 3 for 4 with a double in the only game they played this week vs. North Park. They lost to North Park and are 6-6 overall on the year.
